"Are you sure?" Alex asked Amanda, noticing that she spoke through her teeth.

Eli glared att Amanda."Yeah." Amanda gulped, "I'm just a little sick." Sick of you.
((Wow. She really hates him.))"Well that's horrible. Anything I can do to help?" Alex asked
((lol yeah))"No, you've done enough." she said, a bit bitterly. Amanda coughed for good measure.
Eli disgusted with her sisters behavior tried to change the subject, "Alex, you sure you're not hungry?" she smiled.
"Huh?" Alex said, pulled from his thoughts. "No, no thanks." he said, slightly distracted as he tried to figure out what he could have done to make Amanda not like him.
((lol how did he know she didn't like him! she tried to hide it))Eli shrugged, "Okay. Well I have to eat, so don't mind me." Eli said going to take a plate of pancakes.
Amanda followed.
((Yeah, but she said it 'bitterly'. Both me and Alex thought of that as a clue.))"I-I should go." Alex said, not really sure Amanda wanted him there. There was something off about her just then.
((Yeah, but then she coughed! As if to say the bitterness was from her cold))"But why?" Eli said, getting up from her chair.
Amanda continued eating.
Alex shrugged. "I have to go...inestigate something." he said, which wasn;t entirely a lie, but he'd rather not be around Amanda until he figured out what seemed...strange.
'Okay." Eli said giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Be safe."Amanda waved goodbye. It was the least she could do.
Alex smiled at Eli. "You too." he said, then he left, already rethinking everything.
((rethinking leaving?? i didn't understand, sorry!))Eli closed the door behind him and went back to confront Amanda, "What was the meaning of that missy? Alex now knows you hate his guts."
"Good. Now I don't have to keep it a secret!" Amanda said sticking her tongue out.
((I'm sorry, I should have added more. He's rethinking the past day or so and trying to see if he can find a reason for Amanda's strangeness.))Alex walked back to the club he had been at the night before.
And this time, Anderin was right behind him.
((oh okay thanks. and good job Anderin, finally did something right! lol))"You know...Alex is not that bad."
"We'll see. Anderin should be gathering some evidence shortly...you'll see." Amanda said, getting up from her seat and going to watch some television.
Alex did the exact same thing at the club that day as he had during the night, and Anderin quickly went to Eli's house and pounded on the door.
Eli heard the commotion and opened the door. When she saw who it was she sighed and said, "What do you want?"
"I need to speak with your sister." Anderin said.
Eli sighed and called Amanda.Amanda came over and smiled wildly, "What have you got?" she said.
Eli heard this and gasped. "My Alex? No..."Amanda scowled, "Told you he was up to something." Amanda said.
Eli began to cry.
"You wanna see for yourself?" Anderin asked.
"Yeah. And then I'll show you guys that you were all wrong." Eli said, getting her coat.Amanda got her coat as well.
Anderin opened the door with a flourish and said, "After you." with a smirk.Alex was still at the demon club, randomly asking demons to dance.
Eli rolled her eyes and rushed out the door, regretfully waiting for Anderin to lead the way. Amanda followed pursuit.
Anderin lead the way all the way to the club where they saw Alex.
Eli saw the scene, she just couldn't believe it. "I want to leave." she said. Amanda pleaded with her sister, "But we just got here." she said.
Eli glared at her and proceeded out.
Anderin left as well, but he went home.It was about 6:00 that Alex left the club, and decided he'd better check on Eli, especially since it was getting darker, and that demons come out onto the streets at that time. He knocked on her door.
Eli opened the door and saw Alex. She folded her arms in front of her chest and leaned against the door. "What are you doing here?" she asked.Amanda was watching television.
"I came to make sure you were ok." Alex said. "It's getting late, and that's when demons like to come out, so I was just checking." he said.
"You would know all about demons, wouldn't you? How was your dance?" Eli spit out, walking inside leaving Alex at the door.
Alex peeped his head in without actually stepping into the house. "What dance?" he asked.
Eli turned 360 degrees and walked back to him, inches away from him now, "Don't play dumb with me! I saw you at the club dancing with girl demons. What did you think, you wouldn't get caught? You hurt me Alex!" she said. She was now beating her hands on his chest and crying hard.
Alex grasped her hands together in his. Partly to hold them, and partly to keep her from continuing to hit him. "You saw that?" he asked.
"Yeah." she said looking up into his eyes, "And don't give some excuse like you were drunk or something, because you sure looked sober."
"I don't drink, Eli." Alex said. "And I wasn't going to say that. I told you I was going to find out why so many demons are coming here. That'e one of their top hang out spots. I danced with some of the girls to get them to talk to me. The ones that were drunk were particularly easy to get to speak. But most of them rarely said anything worth while. But I managed to get information. I was never trying to hurt you, Eli. I'm trying to keep you safe." Alex said.
Eli saw the sincerity in his eyes and was about to forgive him when Amanda walked in. "Don't believe him Eli! Where's his proof?" Amanda said.
Alex looked at Amanda. "Proof? Do you have proof that I wasn't doing what I said? Did I kiss any of them? No. Did I make a move on any of them? No. I just danced. And we talked. And I have actual information. Do you have better proof?"
Amanda sulked, "Nope." she went back to her tv watching.Eli smiled at Alex, "Well I'm glad you're telling the truth! But next time, let me know...otherwise I just might not beleive you." she leaned forward and kissed him.
Alex kissed her before holding her. "I'm so sorry, Eli. Really. I thought it would be better not to involve you in with the demons, or any knowledge of them, but next time I'll tell you. Promise."
Eli believed him and held him as well. "Okay, Alex. I believe you. Be safe getting home... I love you." Wow she dropped the L-bomb and didn't even realize it.
Alex kissed her forehead and said. "I will. And I love you too."
Eli smiled widely and felt bubbly inside. She gave him one last tight hug then let him leave.
Alex smiled at her one more time before he turned and left.
Eli closed the door behind him and let out a long sigh. A sigh of relief. A sigh of joy. A sigh that held her anger hidden and prevented her from once again, breaking up with Alex.Amanda came into the room. "Wow," was all she could say.
Alex did not want anymore confusion. So, before he went out on his information scouting at the club, he asked Ally to come with him so he'd have a witness, because apparently Anderin was not on his side, but then again Alex never thought he was.
"Wow." Amanda repeated, "You forgive him that easily?""That's what happens when you're in love." Eli beamed, "Besides...he's innocent."
Amanda shrugged, "Okay. If he makes you happy... I guess I can except that."
Alex continued the research, and why he managed to figure out why the demons were there, he couldn't figure out why their masters wanted them there. But he was tired, so both he and Ally went home.
"Thank you Amanda." Eli said hugging her. "Now let's get some sleep."Amanda hugged her sister back and they went to their rooms.
Alex went to sleep shortly after he got home.
