Still uncomfortable with Eli there, but knowing Alex would want her to hear this, Ally continued. "Vampire hunters are very strong, fast, and powerful, but they have one weakness: They're loners. It may be their biggest weakness." she continued.

Eli listened intently, making note of what she said.
"Because they're always alone, they trust no one and have no backup. Just them. Another weakness is iron. It's a common weakness that lessens their powers to that of a regular human for a few hours after they come in contact with it. It's like that for a lot of things: the hunters, the fey, Sprites, warlocks, all have iron allergies." Ally said.
"Yes. That's why it's so easy to hold my human form. My powers aren't vary good in a world surrounded by iron." Ally replied, not likeing have to tell one of her weaknesses.
Ally fought back the instinct to glare and said, "Her final weakness is...her neck."
Ally shook her head. "No one knows. If anyone knew, it's a very well protected secret."
"Interesting..." Eli said as she pondered what was said to her.
"What out Alex...you too Anderin." Ally said.Alex and Anderin nodded.
Eli scratched her head not being able to interpret what was just said to them so she went and got something to drink.
"Thank you Ally. I know you don't trust her, but it's important." Alex said as Eli left the room.((Dude, I'm sorry! It was supposed to be: "Watch out Alex...you too Anderin."))
((oh ok. sorry, i couldn't work out what u meant))Eli got a couple of drinks for whoever was thirsty and went back to give it to them.
Ally nodded. "Watch out Alex." she said, and then she left, followed shortly by Anderin.
"Leaving so soon?" Eli said as they left the house, "But I brought drinks." she went to sit next to Alex.
"I...need to leave." Ally said."Are you sure?" Anderin said, rethinking his leaving.
"You staying?" Ally asked.
Anderin shrugged. "Maybe."
"Fine, I guess I'll stay a little longer." they both sat down.
Eli smirked. It was obvious there was something going on between them. "Great!" she said, and handed out the drinks and resumed sitting next to Alex.
"Thanks." Anderin and Ally said at the same time. They glanced at each other, and simutaneously started laughing.
Eli smiled and turned to Alex and whispered, "You think there's a connection?"
Alex smiled. "Of course. But try telling them that." he whispered back as Ally and Anderin's laughter died down.
Eli laughed, "I think they have it figured out." she whispered back.
"But the won't admit it to themselves. Trust me, the last thing Anderin wants is something that could make him look weak." Alex whispered back."I should go." Anderin said. He was looking at Alex now, and there was murder in his eyes. He was trying really hard not to kill Alex, and it was getting harder by the minute.
Eli got up and escorted Anderin to the door, "I understand. Come again soon. Ally, will you be joining him...I mean in leaving as well?"
Ally looked at her watch. "Yup. I need to...feed my fish." "I thought you fed your fish in the morning?" Alex said.
Ally shrugged. "I forgot today."
Eli smiled knowingly, "Okay, well see you later."
Ally nodded a goodbye, and then both she and Anderin left.
Eli closed the door behind them then went to Alex. "Think they'll end up together?" she asked him, sitting next to him.
Alex shrugged. "It's hard to tell. I've known Ally for a long time, and something I've learned about her is that she thinks of everything very carefully. She'll decide what's best, but the way she looks at things is very different from how most people see them. She could come up with any response for this situation. As for Anderin...he'll try to deny it. No doubt about that, but he also hates lying. Even with this spell and everything, he hates lying, even to himself."
"Wow! So there's no telling how this will turn out." Eli said. "I still don't know how we turned out." she said leaning closer to Alex.
"I know." Alex said. "I was sitting in a tree with Vlad when a beautiful girl walked up to me and said hello."
"You better be talking about me!" Eli said jokingly.
Eli smiled back, "Well continue then."
"Oh." she said, "Well enough chit chat." She leaned in close to him to see if he'd respond.
Eli smiled. She was so happy their relationship was growing.
"Do you know what time it is?" Alex asked.
"Because I was on my way home. I should probably continue on my way home. How'd I get here anyway?" Alex asked.
"I don't know. I think it had something to do with you fighting the vampire hunter. I don't remember."
Alex didn't either, but he said. "Ok, well, I'll see you later."
"Later." she said guiding him to the door and closing it behind him.
Alex managed to walk home without incident.
Eli went to watch some television. Amanda walked in and sat next to her.
Once he was home, Alex went to sleep. He had hidden it well, but being stabbed by the slayer had made him very tired.
Eli felt worried about Alex but managed to fall asleep that night.
Alex slept ok for someone who had been stabbed, but it wasn't the best night's sleep he'd ever had.
