Alex left, knowing Ally had good reason to be cautiousm and couldn't understand why he didn't feel the same caution when normally he knew he shouldn't trust them. Well, he didn't trust Amanda, but he did trust Eli. He knocked on the door.

Eli heard the door and went to go see who it was.
Alex stood outside the door, waiting, and thought about why he couldn't bring himself to distrust Eli, even when it seemed logical that he would have stopped trusting her after what her sister did...he would have a week ago...what made things different now? Alex pondered this question as he waited.
Eli opened it and found Alex standing there. She let him in and gave him a hug. Amanda came to see who was there. Note in her hand.
Alex hugged her back, and kissed her forhead. "Hey, I've got a little more info on the hunter and Anderin." Alex said.
"Great." Eli said, "what do you know?" Amanda handed him the sorry note.
"One, second." Alex said. He looked down at the note.((What does it say?))
((it's an apology to him from amanda. u can just make up something))Eli and Amanda stared at him as he read the note.
Alex nodded to himself, put the note in ihs pocket, and looked back up at Eli. "So, I have just figured out something that we can add to our list of problems. Anderin was kissed by this girl too...so she knows he's a vampire as well." he said it casually, as if he'd already completely forgotten about the letter.
((i was expecting something like cheesy... lol. this is really good!))"No way. Is there anyone that isn't in trouble?" Eli said, ignoring the letter as well.
Amanda stood there looking dumb.
"No. Not really. You and Ally are in danger of the sudden appearance of demons in the area, and Anderin and I have this hunter on our back. It's pretty much touble central around us." Alex said.
"Oh my gosh. Why do all these things keep happening to us? I bet when I wasn't in your life you were doing just fine, now I'm in your life and it's all going downhill. I'm sorry, okay." she turned her face away from him to hide the tears in her eyes.Amanda began crying as well because noone acknowleded her letter and because now her sister was crying.
Alex put his arms around Eli from behind, hugging her backwards, and said, "Hey, everything's going to be fine. I haven't found out why the demons are here yet, but the hunter would have found us even if-" he stopped even if Amanda hadn't paid her. was what he was going to say. Instead he said, "It's not your fault."((OMG, it wasn't until I re-read it that I realized I couldnt tell if she completely turned away or if she just turned her face away. I wrote my comment as if she had completely turned around. Which was it?))

Amanda snatched the note from Alex's hand and headed to her room.
Alex didn't even react as he stepped back. Amanda had completely broken his trust. She wasn't about to get it back through a letter. "And...well, Ally doesn't want me to tell you anything about her. She doesn't trust you. So, I can't tell you anything about her." he added.
Eli was shocked to see Amanda walk off but continued hugging Alex.
"I just wanted to tell you that." Alex said. He glanced out a window. "It's getting dark, so don't go outside. I'll see you later." and then he was gone.
Eli closed the door behind him and then went to go find Eli.
Alex was walking when he saw a streak of yellow to his left. He was about two blocks from Eli's house, and three blocks from his own. AS he was thinking about what course of action he should take about this mysterious streak, something crashed into him. Hard.
Eli went to Amanda's room and knocked on the door. "Go away!" Amanda screamed, throwing a pillow at the door.
"Hey," Eli said coming inside the room, "what's wrong with you?" she said sitting next to a crying Amanda on her bed.
Alex roled back up on his feet and saw what had run into him. It was a girl. It was the vampire hunter. She smiled a threatening smile, "Happy to see me?" she asked.
Eli put her arm around Amanda and held her close. Amanda cried into her arms.
"Not particularly." Alex said."Well, I'm glad to see you. I have to remember to thank that little girl who paid me to kiss you. If she hadn't I might have never known what a bloodsucker you are." she said.
"You stay away from her." Alex said in a soft, threatening voice.
The hunter raised an eyebrow. "So you know this girl? What, are you keeping her around for alight snack? 'Cause she doesn't look very big."
"I would never hurt Amanda." Alex said, taken aback.
"But I might." that's when Alex charged at her.
((awww that's so sweet))Eli hugged her sister aying, "There there"
The Hunter dodged easily. "Are you telling me that's the best you've got?" she asked. "What about that girlfriend of yours? What would happen if something 'accidentally' happened to her?" Alex threw a punch at her, and hit her in the jaw. Hard.
Eli sensed someone was in danger and hurried and got Amanda away from any windows as much as possible.
"Well, that got a reaction from you, didn't it bloodsucker?" the hunter smiled as she came at Alex with a stake and stabbed him...she only missed his heart by three inches. "See, vampy, I'm good at my job. Next time I won't miss." and she left as Alex fell to the ground under a tree.
Eli felt a sharp zing in her chest as Alex was struck with the stake. She was only able to feel things that happened to those closest to her, so this was a sign.
Dammit. Alex thought as he straightened himself up with a groan of pain, so he was sitting up, while leaning on the tree.
Eli went to go get an aspirin to ease the pain.
Anderin was walking, and smelled blood...vampire blood. He followed it. "Dude, what happened to you?" he asked."I...hunter...sh-" but Alex passed out from the pain.
Don't kill him, don't kill him.... Anderin thought as he picked Alex up, adn started walking him to the nearest place Alex had friends...Eli's house. When he got there, he knocked on the door.
Eli came back to her room and got Amanda. She heard the door and went to answer it, with Amanda behind her.
"Look, can you get him off me? It's getting harder and harder to keep from killing him while he's down." Anderin said as soon as they opened the door.
Eli grabbed Alex by his shirt and pulled his arm across her shoulder and led him to the couch to lie down. Amanda closed the door behind Anderin and followed her.
"I'm not too sure what happened. I found him under a tree. He said something along the lines of, "I...hunter...Sh-" and then passed out." Anderin reported as he searched Alex's jacket for his cell phone.
"It's her." Eli said afraid, "The vampire hunter. She's after Alex and all those he love."
Anderin shrugged. "If you say so." Once he found Alex's cell phone, he said, "I'm going to tell Ally what happened. She'll want to know." he started looking through Alex's contacts, trying to find her name.
"Okay, you do that." Eli said going to sit next to Alex.
Once he found her number, Anderin called Ally. "What?" Ally snapped. "I was trying to read, Alex, you kn-" but Anderin cut her off. "I just thought you'd like to know that Alex got staked by the hunter." Anderin said.
"Oh, my god is he-" Ally started.
"He's not dead, she didn't get his heart. He's over here at Eli's house." Anderin said.
"I'll be over." and they hung up.
"Well, she said she was coming over." Anderin said as he stood beside Alex and looked at where the hunter had staked him. "Doesn't look good." he commented.
Eli shrugged, "Yeah I know. Stand back." Amanda got back and Eli put her hands over Alex's wound. For a few seconds nothing happened then, instant light. A glow as bright as Heaven itself covered the wound and it was soon gone.
"Feel better?" Eli said a little out of breath.
Alex groaned, and opened his eyes. "What happened?" he asked as he sat up quickly.Just as Ally walked in. "My question exactly." she said as she joined the group.
Eli hid her hands behind her back. "Nothing." she said rather quickly, "come in."
Ally got to Alex's side. "Hey, how are you feeling?" she asked.Alex shrugged. "I've been better."
Ally smiled. "So, how'd you come to meet the end of a stake?" she asked.
Anderin was looking at Eli suspisiously. Something had happened, he just didn't know what.
Eli glanced at Anderin and gave him a questioning smile.
Anderin turned his attention to Ally."Well," Alex said, answering Ally's question, and he told them everything that had happened since he left.
Eli listened intently and couldn't stand the thought of the vampire hunter being so close to Alex and threatening to harm her and Amanda.
"Hm..." Ally said, thinking. "So she'll be back?" Alex shrugged. "More than likely."
"Wanna know how to fight her?" Ally said.
"You know how to fight a vampire hunter?" Alex asked.
"Of course." Ally said, "It's like Sprite 101. Everybody knows how to fight a vampire hunter...well, every Sprite anyway."
Eli listend more intently.Amanda did as well. It wasn't everyday she got to hear things liek this.
Ally glanced at Amanda. "Don't you think she's a little young to hear about vampire hunters?" she asked Eli, partly because she was asking, partly because she didn't trust Amanda, and this was important knowledge.
"You're right." Eli said as she took Amanda away from the room.Amanda fussed, "I'm mature enough. I can handle it! She doesn't trust me Eli...she doesn't trust US!"
Eli got Amanda out of the room and came back to join them.
