Alex walked over to Amanda. "So, are we ok now, or have I done something else wrong?" he asked her.
Amanda makes a thinking face than says, "We're cool! It was just a misunderstanding."
"Cool." Alex said, smiling, and held his hand up for a high 5.
Amanda gave him a high five, "You know...just because I'm little doesn't mean I have to be treated like it."
"I'm not treating you like your little. I'd give anyone a high five, and say 'cool'. It's a universal sign that past arguments are forgotten." Alex said, slightly confused.
"Ooookay," Amanda said, "but it seemed like you were. Sorry. Since we're cool, would you mind answering a question?"Eli looked at her sister and cocked her eyebrow.
"Okay," Amanda began, "do you like Eli? I mean like- like!!" she asked.Eli waved her hand, "No, you don't have to answer that... if you don't want!" she said.
Alex raised an eyebrow at Amanda. "If I tell you, do you promise not to tell her?" he asked.
"Pinky promise." Amanda said, sticking out her pinky. "Hello? I'm right here!" Eli says.
Alex hooked pinkies with Amanda, and leaned closer to her so he could whisper in her ear. "Yes." he whispered. "But dont tell her."
Amanda smiled, "Okay, I won't. I'll let her find out." Eli coughed, "Ahem! What are you guys talking about?"
"Nothing!" Amanda said.
Alex looked up, smiling. "Nothing." he said.
"Uh huh." Eli said, a bit skeptic. "So, you have any plans for today?" Amanda was watching television again.
Alex stood, and faced Eli. "Nope, none as of the moment." he said.
"Good. Wanna watch a movie or something?" Eli asked.
"Okay, let's go." Eli said.Amanda waved goodbye to them.
When they went outside she asked, "Okay really, what were you two talking about?"
"And...what was your answer?" Eli asked. She stopped walking and looked at him.
Alex smirked. "I am soooo not going to tell you." he said.
"Because...no reason." Alex said, not wanting to admit how embarassing the answer was. At least for him.
"Fine. Then I'm not talking to you." she walked on without him.
"Nononono." Alex said, running to catch up with her. "It's nothing, Eli, please, come on, talk to me."
She made a pouty face then said, "okay... but I'm still mad at you."
Alex stopped her, and held her face between his hands. "What will it take for you not to be mad at me?" he pleaded.
"You telling me the answer to the question."((gtg bye))
Alex groaned. "I can't he." he said.((K, bye))
"Why can't you? And, you better have a good explanation, because I just hate not knowing things first!" she explained.
"Because...it's a rather personal answer, I dont just walk around telling people my feelings." Alex said.
"And yet you told my sister?" Eli had enough of this. "When you're ready to talk meet me at the movie theatre." she said walking on, without even looking back.
This is rediculous! She can't expect me to tell her EVERYTHING. That's just ludicrus! Alex thought as he walked the opposite direction. She'd get over it. And even if she didnt, he wasn't telling her.
Eli got to the movie theatres and realized Alex wasn't behind her. She sighed and got a ticket for one. She got into the movie theatre and sat far in the back. I wonder if he even likes me...he sure doesn't want ME to know, that's for sure.
Alex wasn't going to the theater. He wanted to, sure, butnot if he had to tell her things he didn't want to. It was his life, and he'd trust people with the things he wanted to trust them with. He ended up walking to Ally's house instead.
When the movie finished, Eli went home. She shut the door and let out a loud sigh. Amanda came in from the kitchen, "What's the matter?"
"Alex doesn't want to tell me if he likes me or not."
"Oh..."
"Amanda, you've got to tell me!"
"No!! I can't...I promised. And so did he."
Eli huffed and went upstairs.
Alex walked into Ally's house, not even bothering to knock. "She is so unreasonable!" he complained as he sat next to a startled Ally. "What?" She asked him.
"Eli." Alex said, and preceded to tell her what had happened.
"And you dont want to tell her?" Ally asked."No!" Alex said, exasperated.
"Would you tell me?" Ally asked.
"No, not you either." Alex said.
"Dang it. Fine, well, I dont know what you expect to fine here." Ally said.
"Nothing, I just want to sit with someone who doesnt want to know how often I breathe or anything." Alex said, and they turned their eyes to the television.
Eli calmed down and went downstairs, "Amanda, can I ask you a question?""I can't tell you!" Amanda pleaded.
"No, it's not that. I just wanted to know, do you think I'm annoying?"
"No, what would make you think that?"
"I don't know. Alex probably hates me...after the way I acted. I won't be surprised if I don't see him again."
"I don't hate you." Amanda says, giving her a hug.
Eli begins to cry.
"You know, you should say something to her." Ally said after a few mintues."Why? She's the one who decided not to talk to me not the other way around. And, I'm not going to tell her, so she'd just ignore me anyway. She said so. It'd be a waste of my time." Alex said.
"I guess...." Ally said.
Eli sobs some more. Amanda hugs her more, too.
"Alex you have to do something. I'm tired of you moping about everywhere, with nobody." Ally said."Do I mope? I do not. Well, I dont think I do." Alex said.
"You do." Ally confermed, "Plus, she was...ok...for a werewolf."
"Really?!" Alex said, excitement lighting up his features. "You really think so Al?"
Ally sighed, "Yes, but do not tell her, or I kill you."
Alex smiled, "Okay Dokay." he said, then ran out of the house towards Eli's to find her.
Eli stops crying and looks at Amanda. "You're an okay sister, you know that right?"
Alex walked there really slowly, at least, slower than he could have wakled there. He didnt want to arrive, only to have Eli ignore him.
Eli wipes her face, "okay, i'm all better now." she says.
Alex, finally getting to the inevaitable, knocked on Eli's door.
Amanda called from the kitchen, "Is it okay if I come in now?"
"Yeah, Amanda." Eli called back.
Amanda resumed her spot on the couch, watching television.
