I'm curious... What do you do when you are not reading, sleeping, or watching TV? Any extreme sport enthusiasts out there? Other Hobbies like blogging, quilting, scrapbooking, traveling, driving their parents nuts, or anything else.

message 2: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll start... I'm not shy. Of course, I love to travel and eat in new wonderful places. I spend tons of time with my boys, next would be homework, and farther behind would be laundry, LOL! I actually have a hard time balancing my scrapbooking hobby with reading. Now I just tossed a blog into the mix. Oh, boy, when do I sleep??

Sport enthusiast, well, last week I went sledding with the boys, friends, and my bro. I came home all bruised up. Does that count?

Amber | 24 comments Traveling, playing with my kids, playing on facebook, taking somewhat decent pictures, searching out the next great mixed drink, swimming... is flirting a sport? :D

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm surprised that flirting isn't a class. Flirting 101. Many guys could use it. LOL!

I forgot photography. Although, I'm a point and shoot. Artist is just happens sometimes. I have a Sony Cybershot and love it.

Amber | 24 comments What's really sad is that I'm a web/graphic designer and I have the Adobe Suite both at work and at home and yet I never photoshop any of my own photos. I've become THAT lazy.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

The only thing I have on my computer is crop and black and white. Nothing really cool. But I'm really pretty sure that I wouldn't spend my time on photoshopping them if I did. Maybe for the first week.

Amber | 24 comments At work I go crazy and create some pretty neat stuff but when I get home I kind of just want to veg for awhile and I just never get around to those great projects I have in my head.

message 8: by Jencey/ (new)

Jencey/ (jencey) I am either working, driving, baking, or spending time with friends. I always have a book with me.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 130 comments I love traveling and crocheting (beginner). I am trying to become a cook and a baker (it's in the beginning stage also). :)

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm welcome all free baking samples :)

message 12: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (readerandwriter) I'm usually watching tv or on the internet. But I'm trying to cut the down and get out more. My sister and I are going to join a gym and become exercise buddies. That will be good for both of us and it will be fun.

message 13: by Andrez (new)

Andrez (andrez-ssi) I like to play my violin, be on the computer, german and english classes, school, and be with my friends

message 14: by Valerie (new)

Valerie The only other hobby I can think of is playing guitar and I'm still a beginner. I spend the rest of my time with family and friends.

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) | 130 comments LeONor,

I would absolutely love to learn how to play the violin. Is it as hard to learn as they say it is. I'm 57. Do you think that will be a problem?

Kate (katemreads) | 46 comments I like to hang out with friends, usually we go to a movie. I love movies! Photography is a hobby of mine that I love. I like to travel but don't get to nearly enough! I also love horses and ride. Oh yeah, and there's always some sort of homework or studying for school to be done.

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

What a wide variety of hobbies!

message 18: by Tiamat_the_red (new)

Tiamat_the_red | 13 comments If I'm not working, reading or sleeping, I'm usually at the gym these days. I've picked up weightlifting as a hobby and it's pretty fun. I also knit (badly), quilt (slowly) and cook/bake (quite well, actually, but it's bad for my waistline). I also do a bit of photography and traveling.

Oh yeah, and somewhere in there I find time to hang out with my friends and host a monthly "book" club that is really more about the food since we kind of stopped managing to find time to read the assigned books. Ironic, I know, but true. My own reading dropped off a lot during that time period and is slowly starting to pick back up. Maybe we'll start reading again, who knows.

message 19: by Karli (new)

Karli (goodreadscomkarli_is_booked) I work full time, take care of my kiddos and love to cook. I hate to bake though. Baking is too rigid, I actually have to follow the directions. Recipes are more starting points and then I move forward. :) I really curb my TV time because reading is my primary hobby and with the rest of my life, something had to give.

Denise (redreader) | 34 comments Time with family - I love time with friends but most of my friend live too far away for lots of time one on one So I'm on the phone a lot. I am also into flea markets / antique shops and shows. I'd like a great collection of "old" books

message 24: by **Carla** (new)

**Carla** Being with the Family is a big one for sure. Aside from work and what not it is usually what ever we have planned as a family. In the summer we like to camp as much as possible. At home we watch a lot of movies too.
