So you just sit down at your computer and then BAM! two seconds later a blood-and-gore filled story pops up on the screen?

Jayda | 2761 comments So, I just came up with the most AWESOME story idea since Rebel!!! I'm SO excited!!! I don't know what it'll be called, or how the plot will actually really go, but I had a dream last night and now I know what I'm going to write during/after I finish Rebel! I post the information once I have it written down! :D

Basically. It's more like two hours, but close enough.

message 108: by Acacia (new)

Acacia (acaciaa) Oh. Fair enough. I (and probably everyone else agrees with me) still wish you would write a full novel, but we all know you don't have a fraction of the patience and/or attention span required.

I personally think it's a little blasphemous, and I wouldn't read it, but it's your story. Do what you want.

I'm sort of writing three books, all of them in different stages

The first one is called "Charlotte Sometimes" (pre-writing stage, may be a one-shot but may have a sequel) which is about a girl who's been constantly moved around by her mother, who is struggling to support her three children after her husband died. Charlotte is the one left in charge of taking care of her sisters, and when the story starts out she does everything she can to hide what she truly feels. Charlotte meets Trisha at the school she's enrolled, and with the help of Trish she's able to discover the problems of her family, and what she can do to help them.

The next is "Violet Hill" (title in works, character profiling/pre-writing stage, book 1 in 5-6 book series) I'm still trying to figure out the fine details of the plot, but its basically about a group of super heroes defending their city, until the leader of the group, Violet, quits her life as a hero in order to live a normal life in order to find herself. (quote from Violet: "How can I help out all of these people when I can't even help myself?")

The third story is "The Mirror World" (place-holding title, plotting stage, one-shot) is about a boy named Natan (may be changed) who is tricked by his reflection, Palindrome (temporary name, but I have a soft spot for it :), into entering the mirror world, which is a world that exists beyond ours. In the mirror world the people who are reflections are really shape shifters, who are cursed to work as the reflections of humans after an incident involving the ancestor or the shape shifters long ago. There are also shadows, who are shape shifters like reflections, but they're more talented and can shift into just about anything. Palindrome and Natan's shadow, Shadow(temporary name) have a plan to overthrow the tyrant of their world, but they learn that it is much more difficult than they originally thought.

I have a new project(s)!

First: series of Twilight minis (parodies of course).

Second: This one is a fanfiction of Kingdom Hearts (my dork alarm is ringing). (Note: this is not a fangirl-fic where i put a magical mary-sue who just so happens to be my age as the main character) I wrote a chapter of it for a contest on a forum I'm a part of and my friend wants me to continue it. I just want to practice finishing my stories >.<

message 121: by Margaryta (new)

Margaryta I'm *trying* to write a number of novels but the process is going very slowly however, and I have about another few story ideas which I just wrote down for the future.

The book I feel most dedicated to writing now is called 'Half Queen', about a modern girl who is an outcast at school however later discovers that she is actually a lost queen to another kingdom where evryone cares about her and wished for her safety, while being persued by an evil boy from that world who's trying to prevent her existance.

Two others are 'Dragon Rose', which is not even a quarter done, and 'The Ark of Dreams', which is in editing stage however it has many revisions I wish to make but I can't pull along with it in any way.

I had dropped a book idea. The book was called 'Easter pop XOXO'. I still favour the plot however I begin to hate my own writing over time and don't want to continue it, and that's exactly what had happened with this one.

So right now, I'm in asort of dead end position. Please, if anyone could give me some pointers on how to continue writing without being always stuck like me and maybe as to why I'm in this situation because it kills me - I can practically write the whole book visually in my head but when it comes down to the paper I feel like I'm pushing myself.

message 122: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm planning a book called Sheltered right now. It has some serious plot holes, so I can't really start writing yet. Blah!

message 123: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm writing a story which I kind of lost interest in... But now I'm not sure if I'm going to go with my original idea...I might, because I promised my friend 350 pages, but I don't know...

message 124: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I just finished one a few months ago that I'm fixing now called, "Outlaw". I like writing romances, and for some reason I've been stuck to western romances... grr, curse you 5th grade year!!!
I'm writing a modern-day romance too, called "One Moment". I just... wanted to write it. I didn't really get inspired.
Now I have two super-hero stories called "Strength" and "Forces of Nature" (I'm thinking about changing that title....).

I'm writing Abby at lightning quick speed. I cranked out 4 pages in one day this week. Pretty crazy.

I've got an outline of sorts (read: poem) of a new short done and which I'm about to start.

Of course, I won't give any plot details away. Just know that it is called Teatre.
