Speaking of naming, I hope you don't mind but I'm writing a story and I need some names. If I give you guys personality types, would you consider some names that would fit?

Okay, the book/story (It won't become a book) is about two orphan boys which I based off a manga I read. They are in fear that the orphanage might seperate teh two brothers, so they are trying to hide under society.

Brother 1: A naive, arrogent kind of guy, but would hold a soft spot, although he can overreact. He longs for the care for his brother, and would do anything for him, or anything to scam a free meal

Brother 2: A softy, kind of like Randy (My Name is Earl) who adores kittens. He follows his brother despite his blunt actions and thinks of his brother as an idol, even though he is only one year younger than brother one.

They meet a gang leader and his gang, and that to Brothers 1&2 is an opening for a roof over their heads.

Gang Leader: A strong, strict guy who procrastinates despite his leadership attitude. He has a soft spot for children, although only gang members A and B know this.

Gang Member A: The only girl in the gang, although you couldn't tell with her emotions. She speaks very rarely and is more of a 'emotionless character'

Gang Member B: A carefree kind of guy, who tries to avoids fights all together, despite being in a gang. People describe him as emotionless and flirty with women, although he has a policy of friends before women, although not very many know it. Although if a pretty lady comes along he won't be anything to resist.

Gang Member C: A young (early 20's) man who if you saw in the halls in highschool you would inspect that he would be shoved in a locker. Wears large thick glasses. He is very good with computers but not so well with social skills.

Gang Member D: A oldwer man, most likely in his forties, and some may think he has no use. Although he is very skilled in hands on fighting. Not a very important character

Gang Member E: A large man, although very polite, and intellegent as well. You won't think a man like him would be in a gang, but it turns out he has a very shady past and the government just isn't someone he will agree with.

I know this doesn't sound like much of a gang but it's less of a gang and more of a band of rejects, or a group of adults who can't afford a full life so they have to make it on the streets. The meaning behind this is TBA, and there are plently more characters, I just don't have my notes with me :P

Lol, I really enjoy Brother 2 names suggestions, they seem to fit, as does brother 1. Billy has a menacing name to it, so it seems to work out, and William is more calm and friendly, so that suites his personality very well. I like the name James as well, but I don't know where to put it.

That's the full name of my MC in Lure. Although everybody calls her Alex, and I think that I'm going to get rid of it :/

I have no idea how I come up with my names. Probably just out of the spurr of the moment. Sometimes I try to play around with letters, like K.T or L.E.T (Katie/Eliot) and decide they stand for something else (Kerry Tess/Little Edmund Thomas [these are actually some of my characters' names:])

i despretly need help.
in my story there are two charicters (Addie and Luke) and they can control the elements. (fier earth wind and water) but i have know idea what to call there are other people like them and there is saposed to be a name for their kind but i can think of one. help.

Um... I'm really sorry if this seems rude but you just mangled a couple words in that statement.

Now with that stated, I will help find a name.

Maybe the Elementum, it means elementals in latin.

Elémentaire, Primaire, both mean Elementals in different languages as well.

Like 'Somnium' means 'Dreamer' in latin.

Lumiere means light in french... Ombre means shadow in french...

I've got a lot.

I just know a good language translator.
