Joanne (bonfiggi) I'm confused...from an additional bathroom to sock monkeys. What a tangled thread you weave.

We're a talented bunch.

Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments Lovin' the sock monkeys!

I'd like to add another bedroom, more closets, and a separate laundry room...currently, my laundry room is in the kitchen. That is entirely too much evil in one small space.

Jim | 6484 comments We are enlarging our bedroom and bathroom, and adding a garage/workshop/storage shelter underneath the addition. Getting really excited about workshop.

I was just thinking I would like to add a door to my dining room, so I could separate the colder dining room and kitchen from the hallway and other rooms. But then I noticed I already had a door there. This is good news!

You do have elves LG.

Not a big user of the dining room, eh? Sort of wander in by mistake once in a while?

No, actually the dining room doubles as a library, so I wander through to look at books, and on the way to the kitchen. But the door is always open and parallel to the wall so I never look at it.

Deep front porches are awesome. So are porch swings.

message 85: by [deleted user] (new)

my Grandma had a deep front porch. we'd sit out there on the glider, and when it rained we would play cards. the porch was deep enough that there was a table and chairs that didn't get rained on.
sometimes i go on google maps, where there is this little yellow figure you can drag to the street...which allows you to "walk" on the street. so i walk up to my Grandma's house and look at that front porch, remembering those fine times.
