If sock monkeys...
probably a big family room with a fireplace and lots of seating. now that my kids are growing up and getting married we now wish we had a bigger space for all of them (plus anticipated grand babies)to come back and be with us. we can make do with our small current space but a bigger room would be better
i want that library too, but i´ll add big comfy chairs and a fire place. for now i would be happy with just an extra room though, and heating in the bathroom.
A pool and a spot in the yard with better light for growing veggies and a room more conducive to music & writing.
A screened porch with nice protection from the elements and a big smooshy couch for napping.A window over the kitchen sink.
A fenced yard for the kids to play in.
A spare bedroom for guests so they don't have to use the fold-out.
I don't think I'd ask for much. A sunroom/enclosed porch on the south side of the house would be nice. And a bigger bathtub.

I'm with you I want a housekeeper. I'll revise that to a "housefairy", 'cause you have to do too much work for a housekeeper.

gosh... so many choices *sigh* hmmmmmm I'll go with a pool and and a moderately lit library with a huge window behind a desk... yup that'l do.
An office/library with one more item--in one corner a large table for our card playing group with comfly chairs and a fancy games table. Also, a hot tub!

I'd like a wrap-around veranda, a library and I still want my 300 square foot bathroom with a ceiling-filled whirlpool tub, waterfall shower and skylight.
I suspect Larry is going to be changing his avatar to something a bit more fearsome right about now.
Jonathan wrote: "I suspect Larry is going to be changing his avatar to something a bit more fearsome right about now."There is NOTHING more fearsome than a sock zombie. I'm pretty sure one of them was the Cloverfield monster. *nods*
Barb, everyone needs a sock zombie. That said, one of the best things about Erin's website is the zombie interviews.
INTERVIEWER: So what do you do in your free time?
ZOMBIE: I really enjoy bungee jumping.
INTERVIEWER: Oh yeah? I wouldn’t have thought you were big into extreme sports.
ZOMBIE: Oh, I don’t actually jump—I just hang out at the bottom with my fingers crossed. Sometimes those things break. Free lunch, you know?
INTERVIEWER: Sure.

I'm not a McMansion person, but I'd love a library in my house...an office/library, really, with those cool rolling ladders to reach high shelves, and a big desk where I could write and access goodreads.
I'd also like an outdoor room/space where my kids aren't allowed. We have a gazebo but within twenty minutes of warm weather it's taken over by children with army men and water balloons.
You?
P.S. Water balloons rock.
