Cynthia (pandoraphoebesmom) | 1333 comments 5.9 - “I think even lying on my bed I can still do something.”
In honor of Dorothea Dix (April 4, 1802 – July 17, 1887), an American activist on behalf of the indigent insane whose quote inspired this task...Spend a day in bed reading the book of your choice.

If you need suggestions OR have suggestions for books to read for this task post them here.

Ruby (rubina310) Ok, this may be a dumb question, but do we literally need to spend an entire day in bed? Or do we need to read a book only while in bed? (Sort of like that task a couple of challenges ago which had us read an entire book outside)

message 3: by Usako (new)

Usako (bbmeltdown) | 1256 comments I think it's the latter - read it only in bed.

Bridgit | 505 comments Ruby - Cynthia answered this in the other questions page. As long as it is all read in bed, in can be in multiple sessions.

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) You can read a book in bed, no matter how long it takes you to read the book.

Thats what Cynthia said.

Ruby (rubina310) Oh ok, thanks. Must have missed it :-)

message 7: by Literally (new)

Literally Jen (vampsita) Oh, good. I was coming here to find out just that. I have a 2-year-old, and it would be impossible for me to spend a day in bed reading, as much as I would like to. I'd have to get a babysitter to watch her for a few hours while I did that, and my babysitter would probably think I'm nuts.
