"I'm bored again," Maddie said.
Jake sighed.

Bri smiled and saw a shadow out of the corner of her eye and mumbled to Lucas "did you see that?"
Lucas gave a slight nod before "saying let's head back it's almost morning"

((it's about 2 in the morning, and sunrise is about 6))

"Just listen to them, Maddie." Jake interrupted. "It's almost morning."

Lucas grabbed Maddie's hand before she could argue anymore
Bri walked next to Jake, keeping her senses directed toward the area she saw the shadow

"Do you see something?" Jake whispered to them so Maddie couldn't hear. He didn't want to scare her.

Bri whispered "it could be nothing, but i'm going to inform the adult gaurdians*can't spell right now*, when we get back to the dorms"

Maddie kept walking.
"Okay," Jake whispered back. He started walking a little faster.

"I'm fine," Jake said. "We're almost to the school anyway."

((i'm thinking of making charrie, that's an adult guardian who works at the school who was doing nightly rounds of the perimeter, so yeah))
Lucas sensed whatever him and Bri saw was following them
Bri tensed up a bit wishing that they got silver stakes early, after getting the same feeling Lucas got

"Thats definitely not good," Jake said looking around.

"What are you guys talking about?" Maddie asked.
"Nothing," Jake said.

Lucas looked ahead of them "look the dorms, let's go"

Maddie walked to the dorms still holding onto Lucas's hand.
Jake followed.

Bri looked at them and muttered so only Lucas and Jake heard "i'll be back, i'm heading to the guardian's area" she ran off before Jake, Maddie or Lucas could say anything else
Lucas sighed

Jake watched her go.
"Where's she going?" Maddie asked. She was going to go after Bri.

Lucas stopped her "she'll be back"
Bri ran off and turned a corner to get to the guardian's area and ran into someone knocking her to her down

"Fine," Maddie said staying next to him.
"Get inside, Maddie," Jake said. "Its getting late."

Lucas glanced where Bri left

"ow" Bri looked up to see her brother "Brian"
"hm, oh hi Bri" he said
"no time...right now, me and Lucas saw a shadowy thing over in the woods over there"

"I wanna wait for Bri," Maddie said.
Jake sighed.

Lucas's head drops

Brian looks at Bri and sees she's completely serious "where was it?"
Bri points "over there"

Maddie staid where she was waiting for Bri.
Jake looked around.
The attacker stepped out of the woods. He was behind them.

Bri and Brian both looked over at Marisa "hey"
Bri looked back where she left Jake, Lucas and Maddie and muttered "Bro, it's here"
Brian muttered back "i know, stay here" Brian goes running in the direction of Jake, Maddie and Lucas.

Lucas felt his adrenaline rush

He ran toward Jake, Maddie and Lucas.
Jake turned around.
"Whats wrong?" Maddie asked.

Lucas quickly pulled Maddie out of the way
Brian ran over and tackled the guy to the ground

The attacker fell to the ground struggling in Brian's grasp.
Maddie stayed still.
Jake stood in front of her.

Brian struggled with the attacker ((should it be a strigoi? since we know from reading the books*cough*3rd book*cough* that's possible for strigoi to get into the academy))
Lucas stood in front of Jake, watching Brian

Bri couldn't stand staying put for long periods of time and ran back to where everyone was

The strigoi tried to get away.
Maddie was scared.
Jake watched. He didn't know what do to.

Lucas watched and was ready to help if he had to
Brian managed to get his stake out
Bri ran over felt a sudden rush of adrenaline once she saw the strigoi

The strigoi fought harder to get up when he saw the stake.
Maddie looked at him.
Jake watched.

Brian struggled a little bit more before finally managing to get it through the strigoi's heart
Bri ran over to Maddie, Lucas and Jake
Lucas could say only word "wow"

The strigoi was dead.
Maddie's eyes were wide. She'd never seen a strigoi staked before.
Jake sighed in relief.

Brian struggled a little bit more before finally managing to get it through the strigoi's heart
Bri ran over to Maddie, Lucas and Jake
Lucas could say only word "wow"

Brian looked at the body of the strigoi and sighed looking over at Jake, Maddie and Lucas "you guys ok?"
Bri looked at Maddie and Jake
Lucas nodded to Brian and looked at Maddie
