I didn't have cable for a couple months this year. I didn't miss it much. It's nice to have, but I can do without it.

I haven't had cable in five years, TV in three, and I thought I was the coolest! Kevin rocks.

There aren't many other things I don't miss. I do miss not being available sometimes. I hate going to the grocery store and arriving home to a red-faced sweeter "where were you? Why didn't you answer? I wanted you to get trash bags! What if something bad had happened! I want to be able to REACH YOOU!"

And I'm all, dude. Chill. My great Aunt Adele misses not having just four digits in her phone number. She'll never carry a cell. She'll be fine.
