I miss being able to drink alcoholic beverages. I also slightly miss being employed.I don't miss being depressed.
Gail "cyborg" wrote: "I lerve gin & tonic with a twist of lime. There is nothing more refreshing on a hot afternoon."A Margarita is hard to beat.
Larry y Los Muertos wrote: "No cable? *twitches and rolls on the floor*"I thought about trying to ditch cable, didn't think about it long.
Hillary wrote: "I second that, Jim. I don't miss a gym membership, and I don't think I'll miss cable. I'm ditching it this week."I didn't have cable for a couple months this year. I didn't miss it much. It's nice to have, but I can do without it.

You got me there Jim. I love Margarita's as well. A G&T is just more easily acquired.

I haven't had cable in five years, TV in three, and I thought I was the coolest! Kevin rocks.
There aren't many other things I don't miss. I do miss not being available sometimes. I hate going to the grocery store and arriving home to a red-faced sweeter "where were you? Why didn't you answer? I wanted you to get trash bags! What if something bad had happened! I want to be able to REACH YOOU!"
And I'm all, dude. Chill. My great Aunt Adele misses not having just four digits in her phone number. She'll never carry a cell. She'll be fine.

Whoops - it's a don't miss thread?I don't miss being too young to buy a beer or get into a rock show.
I don't miss when it was hard to find organic food and healthier choices in the supermarket.I don't miss cassette tapes.
