I do not want kids because I do not have the patience for them and they annoy me. This is how I feel right now, but it might change when I get older.

Same here. I like babies because they're cute an all, but it's one thing to look at them and think they're cute and another to have to feed them and change their nappies. I don't really have the patience either, but I do like the idea of having a baby when I'm in my thirties or something!

Mine too. I've been with my boyfriend for 7 yrs and they didn't like us living together before marriage they wld b really upset if I was pregnant. But its more my grandparents than my parents. So I know what u mean Cat!

Melissa, at least they were fine with you having a boyfriend. My parents didn't even want me to start dating until I was 18, so I had to hide it from them whenever I had a boyfriend! I'm pretty sure they'd have a fit if I ever decided to move in with a guy before I was married to him, they keep going on about how stupid that is. I don't agree!

Really? I thought it was only my parents that were like that because I have friends who are living with their boyfriends and some who sleep round their boyfriends house all the time and their parents are fine with it.
I'm 20, and I feel bad seeing as my longest relationship is three months. And you've been with your boyfriend for 8 years, that is such a long time!

I don't think it is stupid either. I like knowing how someone is going to act to c if I think I can be married to them before I decide to actually get married. But everyone is different.

Depends on the situation bc everyones different but me and my bf are talking bout it n we have been together for 7yrs. But usually after 3 or 4 wld be normal I wld think.

I don't know when I would mention it as I've never even come close to that point. Like I said, longest relationship I've had was three months, and I know that's way too early!

But I agree Melissa. If you don't try living together, how are you supposed to know you're compatible? Like with my best friend, I've know her for 6 years so I thought I knew her pretty well, but now that we're living together I realised I don't like living with her as much as I thought I would.
