My friend's one faded a little and she's only had it for a few years. You can't really tell but she added a new part to the tattoo, so the newly tattooed part looked a lot brighter next to the old tattoo.

Ove time they do fade if they are visible to the sun its good to put chapstick and it helps maintain the colore. Some of mine have faded but some haven't. It just depends on where they r and what colors were used

Usually lighter colors fade easier. I have one that has white and it has faded, but colors that r like yellow and light blue too
