Thanks girls! You're all very friendly here, I think I may stop by here more than Facebook from now on! Lol! It's nice I have somewhere to promote the book. It's been really well received so far!
I'm glad to see someone agrees with me on Meyer, it's about time she started writing something else and come up with new ideas. Nice use of pun there too!I'm looking forward to a more gritty take on vampires too, I think they've been far too romanticised to the point where they seem more like something out of a fairytale than something that's dark and mysterious.
That's it! They are seemingly devoid of threat! Every girl wants a vampire lover! You have any idea how DANGEROUS these creatures are? David and The Lost excited girls with their sexiness but they would have ripped girls throats out in a heartbeat. That's what makes vampires unique, sex and death!
Will someone die in your book? Becuz that would be awesome. Is there action?
I like action too. It would be cool to see some vampires killing people rather than just having sex with them for a change!
Swan Song is DEFINITELY not mushy. Us Brits aren't that romantic anyway! Theres sex but it's of the seedier kind. It's uncompromising and a little raw, there's love but not the healthy kind. It's altogether a different kind of vampire story, trust me. It's unique.

That's lucky! My uniform used to be horrible. A green polo shirt, black knee length skirt and a black blazer! We used to have to wear a tie as well, but luckily they got rid of that!

Well, during my last year I was made prefect and my polo shirt got changed to a blue one which I liked better!

Do you not have prefects in the US? Urm...like, I had some authority over other students and I could tell them off if they don't behave, that kind of thing. Do you call them hall moniters or something in the US?
