Hi I am Jo. I love the House of Night series, Twilight, Vampire Academy, and Vampire Diaries. When I read vampire books, I feel like I am apart of that story... Oh, I absolutely love Dimitri from Vampire Academy!!!!

Hi, my name's Jevron McCrory.I live in London England and just joined this site! It's overwhelming to say the very least but definitely one of the cooler social sites. I LOVE how many vampire groups there are!
In February, Vamplit Publishing published my first book, Swan Song. It's a gritty, uncompromising, passionate vampire story that was wrote as an antidote to all this Twilight nonsense. I want vampires back, sexy and brutal, I mean really brutal!
If you are as sick of these new glittery Hollywood suckers as I am, and fancy a taste of DARK and DIFFERENT London style horror, look up Swan Song. I'd love to hear your thoughts! Even the Twilight fans! Lol!

I like the Twilight books, too, but I also really love the traditional idea of vampires, Dracula as a great example. Their both two very different view on one subject and I very much like them both.
It's not really a traditional vampire book, by any means. It's very gritty, street level, realistic, passionate and can be rather brutal, but it's bittersweet, heartfelt and very honest. At it's core, it's a love story. It's just the two main characters are very damaged, not people you would invite round for tea, and it's the attraction of caring about characters that aren't immediately likeable that, I think, is unique about it.
It's an acquired taste but it's receiving positive reviews so far. I dislike Twilight with a passion BUT I am VERY eager to hear what Twilight fans have to say about this story!
Check it out. Then we will argue to hell about it.

It's one book. I don't want to get just one idea and squeeze every drop of blood out of it! (Cough. Myer. Cough! Lol!) I want to work each time on an original concept, see how far we can take the vampire concept. So far? Pretty bloody far!
Good question Catherine! It's sorta both, less a romance, less a fantasy, it's a gritty urban suck fest with realistic characters and a sucker punch ending, what would REALLY happen if you slept with a vampire, kind of deal.
I don't want to short change my readers. I've really, REALLY, thought about this concept.....
Ya it's nice to only have to read one book to get it all once in awhile, buy I also like series too. It's just good to read a variety.
