Not sure if this was mentioned or not, but wanted to make sure everyone puts their name on the bookmark somewhere or their CoL name. It is so nice to pick up a bookmark and think of the person who made it! I am still getting bookmarks out of my tin from the last swap and am enjoying them so much! Tera, I guess I should make sure that you do want names on the bookmarks again!

I know I'd really like it if I knew who made each one.
I also like it when names are on the backs.
I was planning on putting my GR's name on them & didn't think to ask, lol! It is a great idea Cindy & I agree for the same reason!
I don't mean to speak for Tera on this question but I'm gonna jump in here and say I think that the names on the bookmarks would be a special added touch to it and would be welcomed.....

Start working on your bookmarks and yes I think it would be nice to put a name on them.
I will work to start sending people my address (dont really want to post it) this week if you already have my address from previous swaps or whatever let me know and I wont recontact you.

Everyone make 10 bookmarks. Angela H is the only one who signed up to do 2 groups so she will make 20.
Tera, I sent you a couple of messages on gr's about the bookmarks! If you need me to get in touch w/you another way, just let me know!
I got my bookmarks done today. I hope to get them out in the mail on Friday. I make a total of 30 bookmarks today - I hope you all like them.
I wanted to do the bookmarks and planned too, but I am having some things going on at home that I need to work with. (My son and his schooling) and I don't think I can get them done in time. If it was a longer deadline I would be able too but I am sorry to say, I can't take part. I will definitely want to take part next year and I hope that everyone posts pictures of their bookmarks. I look forward to being a part of this special project next year. =)
I have been playing and making bookmarks the last few days instead of studying for my neuro pharm exam!! OOyy!!! The bookmarks are SO much more fun!! I forgot how relaxing it was playing with the photo program!!Now let's just hope that I ace my exam tomorrow night!

I took college chem, organic, and inorganic chem in undergrad school..... about 15 yrs ago....... what is she studying?? I may can look back in my books and refresh my brain...........lol, yes I even kept all my school books!

I'm so excited! I'm going to finish mine up tonight :)
I'm sick at the moment, but I will finish them in time. I have some designs in mind!
I'm nearly done with mine. This has been fun!
I'll participate in the next one. Sorry Tera that I didn't respond more quickly. My Dad's printer went offline and I had planned to do some digital art off Photoshop. Next time!

There are so many people in some of my classes who are praying for a B (a C will knock us out of grad school), and most of them already have at least one master's degree or more.

I had the same teacher for all the math classes in high school, so I was used to the way she taught...... however, it never made sense to me until senior year when I took physics............My physics teacher actually taught me trig and it was like a light bulb turned on!
Finishing up my bookmarks today & sending them out to Tera on Monday. (I need to make sure they're dry so they don't stick together, lol!)

Msg 60, Tera said March 6th deadline to ship. So we actually have until next Saturday to get them in the mail. I have to figure something out today. Think I'll just go to Michael's for inspiration!

Finished up my bookmarks this morning and allowing them to dry before I stick them back among the books on my shelf to make sure they're flat instead of warped! Mailing will commence on Saturday morning!
I sent mine out this afternoon. I think it cost about $1.50, but mine had ribbons and such that added extra weight. I can't wait to see what other people did for theirs!!
Darn it, I thought I'd be able to finish mine tonight and mail them tomorrow, but it was not to be. If I have to stand in line at our post office on Saturday morning, I will, but just because I love you Chicks!

Brenda, I'll let you know what the little postage meter says when I weigh mine. I have to get them finished first!! I probably won't get them done and ready to mail until Saturday.
If I remember, I'll just take 10 random bookmarks to work tomorrow and weigh them so I can let you know! *I know what you mean about the post office, I avoid it at all costs!
I am amused by the common theme developing -- none of us want to go to our local post offices. A few years ago, our two p.o.'s in town were closed and one larger new one was built to replace them. Silly residents, we thought that meant an increase in staff. Turns out, on a normal day there are less people working the counters than we had before.
I actually don't mind my local post offices. However, I usually just try to go either on a weekday before 5, or first thing Saturday AM when it's usually pretty empty. I'm going to try to get to the post office today to mail mine - the post office isn't what stopping me, it's car troubles! :o(
I'm happy that work has a post office outlet right nearby so I can mail smaller items since I ride the train in!
I have mine done now, I was going to mail them today, but now my brother ordered a load of gravel to be delivered so I have to wait for that, I promise I will mail them tomorrow before I go to work.
I don't mind our P.O. much though sometimes I can feel my hair growing while I wait, lol!!!

Yippee, they're on there way and I didn't even go to the Post Office! Our daughter took them for me; can't get any better than that!
Mission accomplished -- barely! The power went off last night, just long enough to mess up my clock and therefore my alarm. I overslept by TWO HOURS and dashed around getting everything together, got the last parking spot at the P.O. and stood in line behind at least 20 people. The clerk had a little trouble with the concept of needing as much postage on the return envelope as on the other one, so Tera, I hope it's enough.
