:) Thanks Kathy, I have to say that I'm crazy about learning languages. So, I know English, Spanish, a little German and of course my native language Turkish. Italian language is so similar to Spanish that's why I was able to pick it up rapidly. Also, thanks for sparing your time and going all the trouble to write down all that wiki info about Giulio, that was really helpful. Somehow the page you're talking about doesn't show up on my google searches, I wouldn't want to bother you this much. Like you said, he is definitely and 100% Italian rather than American Italian. I'm just curious, are you also from another nationality and live in the US?

I would love that!!! I have been on so many websites downloading things and nothing works!!! I've seen the series so many times, so i do get what went on, but it's not the same when you can really understand it!

Thanks for asking about me, I check out here almost everyday but since I'm at my parent's home for some vacation time I was a little bit on my lazy side I guess :) By the way, Sezen & I are twin sisters which explains her absence as well. Yes, the girl in the pictures is Anna Safroncik, his ex-girlfriend. I was curious about the reason behind their break-up so I found out a fansite that states after being together for 3 years Anna wanted a more solid relationship and a family but Giulio preferred his freedom and independence. I felt a little sorry for her considering their supposed engagement + 3 year relationship. But that's his choice, right? Definitely, none of our business.

Well, about being twins,I just had the picture in my head of Giulio with one of you on his right arm and one on his left arm,how would a person ever choose?
I couldn`t understand it but I did see an interview by a lady in Italy that I think must have asked about marriage plans and he and Anna Both looked embaressed and he shook his head no,maybe you saw it ?

Since I don't know Italian I just tried to connect the body language with what I could catch from their conversation, there are awkward pauses so I guess that's the part where he says no.

Kathy Anne, you are referring to the last two pics at message 272 right? I guess the wavy lines are there for copyright purposes. It protects the picture against unwarranted claims and generally clear version comes with a price. Also the waves might be there so that people know which website they belong to. Hope I could explain it.
As for the music that haunts me whenever I hear it, I searched and I couldn't find the name of it! Fortunately I can open the scenes that have it playing in the background. Have a great Sunday!

I am in the process of watching "La Figlia di Elisa" on line. It's in Italian with Spanish subtitles but I am getting the general gist of it. I wish someone would produce a version with English subtitles. I can't understand why not because there seem to be so many English speaking fans.
Thank you Carol for helping us out here, those screen capture pics are just great!I'm watching the Spanish subtitled version of "La Figlia di Elisa" too, thinking that I might be able to understand it with my wretched Spanish at least, it helped a great deal indeed but I was just so curious about understanding what exactly they are saying that I took the trouble to translate the conversations as I was watching the videos. Of course, I wasn't able to finish watching the series with this pace yet, I took a break on Cap 3-Parte 3.
I wanted to say that though I'm definitely not an expert on translations, I'll gladly help you with what they are saying in a particular scene you would want to know (I, personally was curious about what Andrea says to Agnese on that famous first kiss scene by the creek or what passes between them when they have a dispute, etc.) I'm doing it for myself anyway, so just let me know.

Thanks Sezen, that would be great. I am on Cap 3: parte 9 at the moment and so I will have to go back and look for any specific "parte" that I would really like a translation for.

Kathy, this is from the 1st scene where they actually sleep together. The scene in most of the fanvids (where they take off each other's shirt) was like an earlier in the day "foreplay" to this scene - the real thing.This is the link to the actual scene. Start it at 5:00 where you see Agnese sneaking out of the house to meet Andrea and you'll be good to go from there!

I need help!Right now I am adding English subtitles to the first 2 episodes of "la figlia". (Can you believe I finally found someone who made English subtitles?!?) I've never done this before so when I'm finished can I send the episodes to someone who can tell me if they look right or what I should do to make them right?

Ok, I just watched the first two episodes with English subtitles. The girl that is doing the subtitles emailed me back and said she is working on the next 4 episodes as we speak! I thought I was more computer savvy than I must be, however, because it took me a while to figure out how to get the episodes merged with the subtitles. If anyone cares to watch the first 2 epis, send me an email and I'll see if I can send it over.

But you know I watched those vids and his mannerisms are definitly Italin,they are not American-when he is speaking normally to a person-not acting that is.
Holy Smokes Sezen how many languages do you know,and can just set down and pick them up?That is really a good thing to have going for you.
