It just doesn't get any better than GB in my opinion! I can't help it!
LOLLLLLLL sparkles ... bahhhhhhhhhh
I'm never satisfied. I keep changing my man. Variety is the spice of life but Giulio is still my home boy.
OMG, how many times can a person watch a miniseries in a foreign language before they are declared legally insane? EVERY TIME I open this thread and see his pictures, I end up watching an episode of La figlia di elisa...then I end up running late to wherever I'm supposed to be. Why do I do this? It's not like I never see his pics...I have them framed throughout my bedroom (lol, one of the advantages of being divorced). Just something about discussing him makes me need to see him in action...[image error]

For those of you that haven't watched it yet, this is a really sad scene.
Okay I occasionally lurk here, look at Giulios pictures and carry on tthrough...BUT I don't feel very well today and stuck for something to do decided to actually watch some of the vids HELL what have I been missing??? The whole thing is beautiful, I've ended up watching the Escenas Romanticas 1 through to ?? well lost count actually because I keep going back to same one where Guillio is under the waterfall!!! I think it was the Italian that did it for me OMG I have been rendered speechless!
Well i dont need to watch this movie iv now watched it all on slides LOL ...
you are so in lerrrrvvvveeee LOL

Hi Adrienne! We all want this on DVD! I found it at the German Amazon site but don't know how to order it from there. US Amazon is researching it for me. It was a miniseries made for TV. The first part,
Elisa of Rivombrosa aired in 2003 & La figlia di elisa was on a few years ago. You can watch La figlia (the one starring Giulio) in Italian here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/ILicealiH...
and with Spanish subtitles here:
http://www.youtube.com/user/Maarynnah...
Both sites show the entire series and are free. I would guess it's about 12 hours of straight viewing time. Hope you enjoy it!!

Thank you thank you I'll send an e-mail to amazon UK to see if they'll get hold of a copy, even in Italian with Spanish subs it's worth watching. On another note I so loved the song .....Almost Lover by A Fine Frenzy......that accompanied one of the vids I bought it!
That fanvid is one of my favorites also. You bought the song? LOL so did I. As well as this one by Evanescence:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAdnfQ...

That last picture just about kills me, I sobbed my eyes out when watching this when it came to that scene! Heart wrenching! I can still hear him screaming!
My hubby actually asked me if I was gonna be ok.

Giulio's in a new movie coming out entitled "Bon Appetit". He looks ok in these stills but OMG check him out in the video shot backstage!

He's a GOD!!!! I dunno what else to say! GORGEOUS!
Oh, thanks so much! He is the epitamy of every hero I read about!
Here is a glimpse of Giulio in "Bon Appetit" And...surprise! He speaks English.http://www.youtube.com/bonappetitlape...

But I'm starting to get into this look...

"Well, since you both invited me here today, I decided to come."

"My love, I have loved you from the moment we met. And no matter what you choose to do, I will love you for the rest of my life."

"I don't want to marry that man. I want to marry you!"

"You've exceeded the limit this time!"

(Yikes! We'd better jam before we get killed!)

(And they lived Happily Ever After...or so it would be in any other movie. This one wasn't even halfway through at this point!)
Hi girls! Before I've joined this group I had no idea about this gorgeous Italian hunk. Your comments about him made me chuckle a lot and I got curious about him. Then I watched the videos you posted... I'm not sure if that was a wise move for me, maybe I was happier before I knew someone like him existed somewhere :) You've made me sigh for him, you've made me yearn for him, you've made me dream about him all the time! Look what you've done! Tsk tsk tsk... ;) At least I'm on the same part of the world with him, that's my consolation. LOL.
KarenH, thanks for the 'Bon Appetit' trailer, seems like a sweet movie I have to watch it immediately! By the way I loooved this screen captures with your subtitles haha!
Nihan, I feel the same way you do. I can't believe how I can possibly overlook such a gorgeous guy all this time?! Now I started to watch that Italian series, wondering how I was going to get what was going on without any Italian but thankfully it has also Spanish titles. I'm just grateful for my Spanish classes I took in college, never thought it would become so useful ;)

Aaaand another one bites the dust :) I can't blame you Sezen since there is no defence against his irresistable charm ;) Thanks for the awesome pics, never seen the first one before and I think I'm melting now...
Thanks, Nihan. I've been having fun translating the Spanish subtitles into English. Of course I have to ad lib here and there. :)I feel the same as you...I was happier before I knew he existed. Then again, if I'm depressed I watch one of the "la figlia" videos and it lifts my spirits. So I guess it works both ways.
Were you able to watch Bon Appetit? When you do, please let us know about it. He looks so damn cute in it!

I haven't watched the movie yet but I will definitely comment on it here as soon as I watch it. Incidentally, I just want to reassure you ladies who want to jump on a plane in an instant and fly to Italy hoping to find Giulio or men like him. I visited Milano, Roma, Verona, Florence, Pisa and Siena in Italy two years ago and believe me this kind of man was nowhere to be seen! It was just my (un)luck probably but I hope I put your minds at ease even a little bit in case you desperately want to go to Italy but couldn't find the opportunity. I guess sitting in the comfort of our homes and watching his series is much better :)
I wonder why is it so hard to come across someone like him? Where are all the good man gone? I need a hero! OK, I'll just stop :)
I just wanna be able to buy La Figlia on video! GOD DAMN! the man is hot hot hot! It's his smile that kills me! and when he's wet! God!
