No, that's cool. NIce description! :-) You're welcome to take the lead on playing the aliens by the way. I just wanted to know what these guys look like so it's easier to picture it in my mind when i write. It's good stuff!

Job: Owns a small grain mill.
Personality: Serious, obviously. Very hardworking and stubborn. He is extremely religious.
Looks: About 5'7". Typical male build (sturdy), dark hair and skin. Blue eyes typical to his race.
Other: His wife's name is Hali.

Age: Looks to be early twenties.
Gender: Female
Job: She doesn't have one, obviously, beyond being a homemaker and helping Terrence occasionally in the mill.
Personality: Free-spirited, but follows the rules. Hali participates in religious activities, but inside she doesn't really believe it all. Loyal to her husband.
Looks: About 5'4". Slightly lighter skin than her husband, but still fairly dark. Dark brown hair with a hint of dark red. Typical blue eyes.

Personality: Smart, mischievous, curious.

Job: The leader of the Island.
Personality: Strict, stubborn, traditional, kindly (usually), good leader. Extremely religious.
Looks: Pale gray hair, dark skin, pale blue eyes. He used to be tall and strong, but he is slightly stooped with age.
Other: The temple is very important to him.
Okay, sounds good. one tiny issue - if they speak English, why do they need Daniel to translate? unless the 'ancient' language is sorta like the variety of their current language, how it evolved. sorta like Latin and English evolving from Latin and so on.

Nah, that sounds good. They could always speak a mix of English and their 'ancient' language, so some words are weird-sounding. You know like when Jack could speak Ancient. "I've lost the falatus to speak properly" - same sort of thing perhaps.

Names: Kormak, Terrence, Quinten, Jason, etc. (male) Hali, Nora, Rachal, etc. (female)
Appearance: They generally look like typical 'earthlings', except for the fact that all of them have extremely light blue eyes. Typically have fairly dark skin. Common height for an adult is between 5'0" and 6'1". Most men are built sturdily, women are more slight.
clothing- Men usually wear a rough tunic style shirt with pants. Some wear shoes, some don't. Most everyone carries a small bag at their waist, though it is unclear why. Women wear dresses that resemble those of earth's pioneers, except for the fabric is much more rough, and the colors are almost always dark and earthy.
mannerisms- in their society, men are very much considered superior to women. That is not to say that women are mistreated, but there are limitations on what they can do. Men are responsible for providing for the family, and women are supposed to remain in the home. A sense of humor is fairly foreign here, and generally speaking people are rather serious. Children are allowed a lot of free reign.
religion- the bag at their waist is significant. they have one temple of the island, and several on the mainland, though the island temple is the most sacred. women aren't allowed beyond the temple grounds, nor are children. They believe that their world was created by one powerful god, and they were created by his wife. They worship them in small, open buildings.
