Disappointed

I read this book, and while I enjoyed the author's style, I was severely disappointed in the story. Mina seemed lack-luster and confused, Gance was distasteful and Johnathan pathetic. What did you think?

I would have to agree with you on all points. There's also not much description. There is more "telling" than "showing." I have about 90 pages left and can't wait to be finished with it. I think the next time I need a Stokeresque vampire fix I will just read the actual "Dracula."
