I've been wanting to read the Immortals series (Evermore, Blue Moon, and Shadowland) by Alyson Noel, but everytime I go to Books-A-Million, I get caught up in other books. The library might have them, but I haven't been to mine in what seems like forever and ages and eons ago. :D
I've been wanting to read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay for a while. I even bought it and read the first few pages, but somehow I misplaced it. I loved Chabon's Wonder Boys and I've heard Kavalier & Clay is his best book, so I know I'll love it.
I would have to make a list. I would think of this as my wish list The Last Summer, The Winter Rose, The Constant Princess, True Colors, One Fifth Avenue, Barefoot: A Novel, The Friday Night Knitting Club, and Bed of Roses. I could add more.
The Friday Night Knitting Club? That's a very different book title. It sounds a little interesting though because of its name.
Well I have heard that Friday Night Knitting Club is going to be made into a movie. Julia Roberts to star in it. This has been rumored for a while. I have been meaning to check out Kate Jacobs books.
I've heard that Life of Pi is good, but I haven't started reading it yet. Haven't even started searching for it. :)Elyssa: You will really enjoy Pretties.
For a while now, I've been wanting to read Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Far from the Madding Crowd, and Wuthering Heights.
I've been meaning to read Stranger in a Strange Land and Little Women.I read Little Women in middle school, so that will be a reread. However, Stranger in a Strange Land is part of my ongoing quest to read some good science fiction novels, and I've heard some great stuff about it.
since today, ive been wanting to read the series named"the qlique"i wanna read it badly but i cant find it in any library :(
I never thought Id ever read any sci-fi book.I just read The Host because I loved twilight and I like her writing.I just read The Hunger Games because I heard so good of that book.in both cases I absolutely loved the book
My DD has a few other books that I've been meaning to read also -The Host. Also, the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson,The Uglies Trilogy and Graceling
I've also been wanting to read The Host by Meyers.
I will be adding to this list. I had City of Ashes in my hands from the library but I haven't been able to get to it.
I'm embarrassed to say I've yet to read them. But I own them. Some day I'll get to this series!!
I really want to get around to reading The Lord of the Rings also. It has been on my TBR list forever.
I have so many bboks right now that I am either waiting for to come out and read and so so many that I mean to read but haven'y got to them...I have other books/genres of books that kind of take priority for me when reading.

You should! Its really good."
Jo, I'm loving The Host so far. Granted I'm only 60 pages in but it is way more interesting then the last book I slogged through.

That is great to hear! I'm excited to dive farther in. I just needed to catch up on here since my cable company had a brain fart and disconnected my cable instead of the neighbors.

I've been wanting to read "The Faith Club" . It's a memoir about three women from 3 different religions and they discuss different issues. It looks like a very good read. Everytime I go to the book store I keep forgetting to look for it. Next time for sure. Or I can see if my library has it :).
