Ashley (readerandwriter) Are there any books you've wanting to read? or Are there books you've been meaning to read?

I've been wanting to read "The Faith Club" . It's a memoir about three women from 3 different religions and they discuss different issues. It looks like a very good read. Everytime I go to the book store I keep forgetting to look for it. Next time for sure. Or I can see if my library has it :).

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) | 195 comments I've been wanting to read the Immortals series (Evermore, Blue Moon, and Shadowland) by Alyson Noel, but everytime I go to Books-A-Million, I get caught up in other books. The library might have them, but I haven't been to mine in what seems like forever and ages and eons ago. :D

Lydia I want to read "User Unfriendly" by Vivian Vande Velde.

message 4: by Cathrine (new)

Cathrine (cathrine_bock) I've been wanting to read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay for a while. I even bought it and read the first few pages, but somehow I misplaced it. I loved Chabon's Wonder Boys and I've heard Kavalier & Clay is his best book, so I know I'll love it.

Jencey/ (jencey) I would have to make a list. I would think of this as my wish list The Last Summer, The Winter Rose, The Constant Princess, True Colors, One Fifth Avenue, Barefoot: A Novel, The Friday Night Knitting Club, and Bed of Roses. I could add more.

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) | 195 comments The Friday Night Knitting Club? That's a very different book title. It sounds a little interesting though because of its name.

message 7: by Jencey/ (new)

Jencey/ (jencey) Well I have heard that Friday Night Knitting Club is going to be made into a movie. Julia Roberts to star in it. This has been rumored for a while. I have been meaning to check out Kate Jacobs books.

message 10: by Pandy (new)

Pandy For a while now, I've been wanting to read Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Far from the Madding Crowd, and Wuthering Heights.

message 11: by Julie (new)

Julie S. I've been meaning to read Stranger in a Strange Land and Little Women.

I read Little Women in middle school, so that will be a reread. However, Stranger in a Strange Land is part of my ongoing quest to read some good science fiction novels, and I've heard some great stuff about it.

Jo, I'm loving The Host so far. Granted I'm only 60 pages in but it is way more interesting then the last book I slogged through.

message 23: by Jo (new)

Jo If you are liking it at 60 pages in then you will more than likely love it overall

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

That is great to hear! I'm excited to dive farther in. I just needed to catch up on here since my cable company had a brain fart and disconnected my cable instead of the neighbors.
