Dangerous Hero Writing Challenge Themes

You are welcome. Oh and Zee, don't worry if people will read your story or not. Just share your story. :)

I'll check your story out and I am sure, others will as well. You may not get some comments from people or many comments. But at least it's out there for anyone that wants to read it.

Every story that I write, I write for myself. I can honestly read my own work, like I would be reading a story about Sam and Alyssa. I could snuggle up to my own work and no, I am not boasting about my work. I have always written for myself and I am a firm believer that all writers should write for themselves. Write stories that you would love to read.

Zee have fun with your story and please don't give up on it. If it take you a year to finish it, so be it.

lol, my mind is running with a story right now. A best friend story if that was to be the theme on here. Too many stories for me. I am going to write one for the interracial group. Right now, all I see is the heroine being upset at something someone did or said and the hero has to calm her down. They work together.

Okay, I don't need another story running through my head.

Already months ago, a story about Stranded on a Desert Island ran through my head.

Very true - I write for me too, stories the kind I'd want to read. I'm lucky that I got a few of them published, but publication is not my main goal. If it sells, great. If not, I've had pleasure writing it.

Not boasting, Arch - I love to snuggle to my previous stories too and get re-immersed in my H/h's world. It feels like re-living in their world all over again.

Thanks for the encouragement. No, I don't plan to give up. I may shelve a story but I always come back to it. Some of my best ideas have come on twists to stories I'd started earlier and the lightbulb just went on in an aha moment!

Aw, love a hero who soothes his girl! The scene I keep getting is the heroine at the window. It's nightime, she turns and looks at her husband asleep on the bed, and her thoughts are, "how can I ever tell him all this is a lie?"

Danielle, maybe I have read wrong months ago, but I thought that's the theme you wanted before or maybe my mind just gone there.

Okay, the theme is Stranded with a Dangerous Hero. So that's my vote.

I hope if Zee's Best Friend's theme doesn't win, she can still write a Stranded with a Dangerous Hero but have the hero and heroine be best friends that turns into lovers.

I was referring to my story, but I meant stranded in general, so people could make their own interpretation of a stranded environment. Why not do both, Zee?

I need to re-think the stranded part, as to why they're together (since I wanted them married at the start) but I think it'll be doable.

Your story doesn't have to be about best friends turn lovers. It could just be a story about a hero being stranded with a dangerous hero. Zee wants to write a story about best friends turn lovers, so I have made it a hybrid story for her.

The main theme in this writing theme is Stranded With A Dangerous Hero.

The writing challenge starts tomorrow, August 15.

In 2010, the themes were captive or kidnap. My story is an interracial bwwm kidnapped story.

What do you want to write about? I think it would be okay, if your theme is different from the captive or kidnap theme.

Okay. Write it. Look how I’ve titled my story and follow that pattern on how to let readers know what your story is about. Please don’t get discouraged if you don’t see a lot of views or get a lot of comments. You might get more views than comments. Feel free to tell your story. I do.
