Thanks Danielle. Yup, my hero will definitely be dangerous. I'd say a 5 on the quotient scale! :) Heroine, yikes, will be a 10.

Yes, Suzanne. If you just want to post your stories, create a thread under original fiction with your story.

I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone else is going to nominate a theme for the next writing challenge. Today is already May 31st and with this day included, there are 11 days left to nominate a theme, before the voting starts on June 11th and ends on June 14th. The new theme starts on June 15th.

I will not be participating in the next writing challenge, but I will be a reader. I am not even close to finishing Trespassing and plus I have other stories that I want to finish and/or write more to.

I'm probably about half-way through Shadow Tryst as well. Should we put off the next writing challenge until the fall? I think that it's just the four of us: you, me, Rae, and possibly Zee interested.

Maybe we should, to give us time to finish our story. I will shorten my story. I have a lot to write, but I will leave a lot out.

I alway want to write the last of Courage, before starting a new story.

If Zee wants to start her story on June 15 that's okay.

Please don't shorten your story, unless you want to do so. My story will be about 50,000 words.

I might continue with the route I am going. The cabin scene is long and it was suppose to be long It's still Sunday for Cop and Sanjar. But in a few more pages, it their Sunday will end.

I am truly loving this story.

Maybe we could get others interested for the fall.

We have six more days left for nominations.

I feel that we have all the nominations, but I could be wrong.

Mollie *scoutrmom* (scoutrmom) | 635 comments Arch wrote: "...I feel that we have all the nominations, but I could be wrong."

I hope you'll hold off until the 10th, because somebody else new to the group like me might have suggestions. I liked the forced marriage idea, it could be combined with the sci-fi kidnap because their women are dying. I prefer outer space themes to historical kidnap ones because you are not as restricted in your world-building.

All of this is my opinion as a reader, I don't have the gift of writing as you do.

Thanks Mollie for your reply.

The challenge theme nominations are for writers. For writers that want to participate in the challenges.

You are the second reader that suggested a theme.

I have to admit, I could never write a sci-fi or even historical romance.

I like Contemporary stories and I love to make things up in my stories. I am a make believe story teller, so if there are some things a person sees in my story that's not real, it's because I've made it up.

We have time to suggest more themes. Me personally, I would like the dessert island theme.

I hope to be finished with Trespassing then. I have another story that I want to focus on too. I might not participate in the next challenge, but I'll be a reader.

Okay ladies, August is quickly approaching. The next theme will start on August 15th.

Nominations for new themes are from August 11-14th. The cut off time is 5:30 p.m. central time August 14th. If the Lord says the same by 6:30 p.m. central time, I will share the theme for the next writing challenge.

I might not be participating in the next theme until later. I have a lot to write to Trespassing and I know that I will not be finished by August 15th. I know that I don't have to be finished, because each theme is ongoing and will end on the writer's time.

I look forward to reading the new writer's stories.

message 95: by CaliGirlRae (new)

CaliGirlRae (rae_l) | 279 comments I don't know if I'll be participating myself at first. I'm about halfway through with On the Cut and still some more to tackle. Not sure I'll be done by August 15th either. :-/ But I'll see. I'll definitely be reading the new stories too, though!

I may try to start a new story, but I've got some irons in the fire right now. I hope there are some new faces posting stories this time around, although I love reading you girls.

Lizz (Beer, Books and Boos) I want to write about a paranormal BAU team like in the show Criminal minds.

I love reading you and Rae's story as well. As well as Pamela's story and the other young lady story. I can't think of her name right now.

Hey Lizz, are you planning on having a hero and heroine in the story or do you just want to write about co-workers solving crimes?

Our challenge stories are usually about a dangeorous bad boy finding love.

But, if your story isn't going to be about a certain hero and heroine, then you can write your and not let it be part of the writing challenge. We have a section for regular stories.

I hope I am making sense. If not, please ask me to explain myself.

message 100: by Zee (new)

Zee Monodee (zee_monodee) | 688 comments Ooh, I cannot wait! Got a women's fiction on the grill right now but I'd love to do this! Cannot wait for the themes to come in.

I know mine will have a dangerous bad boy finding love with a none less dangerous bad girl! (well, I hope the theme will let it play like I have it in mind!)
