The name Tokyo came to me for the next story and after I've shared my name, I've noticed that Fire and Ice takes place in Tokyo. To me that was a sign that my character's name should be Tokyo.

sure why not... lots of ppl name their babies after cities. Paris, London, Dallas, Austin, etc.. I had a exchange student whose brother's name was Tehran so someone name Tokyo sounds perfectly reasonable to me.

Names and scenes tend to pop out at me, when I think about writing a story.

Like Helicopter/Cop did for Trespassing.

I want to start this writing challenge but I need to know what the theme is. I have an idea, but not sure if it will fit.

I want to write a story about my heroine being under some sort of protection by the hero. Would this work for the challenge?

I fairly new to Goodreads and am trying the reading challenge for the first time. I just tried to add my first book (a little late, I read it in January). I added it to my bookshelf "dangerous hero" and marked it as read but it did not show up in the challenge. Could someone tell me how to indicate that you've read a book and have it count towards my challenge goal?

Hi Janet, this challenge is for original stories written by members. To sign up for the dangerous hero reading challenge, you can follow this link, and it will show you what to do. It will have you create a shelf, and when you mark a book read, you have to add the book to that shelf for it to be counted. Let me know if that doesn't clarify things for you.
