I'm a big fan of YA Paranormal Romance and would love to be exposed to new books.
I'd also LOVE to meet new people, so if you'd like to be Goodreads friends with me, add me!
Nice to meet you all! <3

Because of my love for all things HEA's, I write romance novels where the characters come together (and don't drown) in the end. My inspirations include Jane Austin & Walt Disney where I have a great love for fairy tales. Beauty & the Beast is my go-to indulgence. I could talk all day about Romance & HEA's, but reality calls.

I've been a closet writer for years and decided a couple years ago to learn more about the craft of writing. I think that you HAVE to read a lot to write great stories. The problem is, there are so many books to choose from now (many are wonderful, many are horrible) and who has the time to waste on a badly written book? I've lurked in this group for a little while and I'm so thankful for the reviews and recommendations you all provide! I'm actually participating in my first challenge this year (Big Cities/Small towns) and I'm really curious how it goes, since I'm from a semi-small town (18,000) in Ohio.
I'm happy to be a part of this group! (Oh, and child #3 is now a thriving 16-year old, so the worry, prayers and sleepless nights on hospital chairs was entirely worth the stress).
Happy Reading!

The little town I retired to had a pop of 7,736 in 2013. I bet we're up to 8,000 now, what with all the "baby boomers" retiring. A little less than the 1 million in my previous home town. :o)

I'm both a romance reader and writer, and I'm here to discover new books, writers and ideas. Especially love to find new authors who write with emotional nuance and complexity--and don't have to rely on melodrama to make the plot move... though a little melodrama can be fun:)

I do not like a lot of ANGST in my romances, and if they have witty banter that is even better.
I also prefer closed bedroom door, but do want *sparks flying* chemistry, and great knee-weakening kisses!
Cowboys are my special weakness in romance reads, guess it's from my Air Force dad being stationed all around the west while I was a horse crazy kid, and my mom's people lived in MT, ID, WY, and WA. so I saw lots of hunky cowboys!
I enjoy reading many other genres as anyone can see from my profile, but Romance is probably #1, including Amish-themed romance. I live near the world's largest Amish community here in Ohio, and find their culture fascinating.

I love HEA books of all kinds. I am relatively new to Goodreads and am thrilled to find this group.
