I work in a library when not home writing. Some of the customers have been so supportive when they hear I'm an author. Every so often, the conversation goes like this:
Customer: "I hear you're a writer! How wonderful.What do you write?" (as I check out their stack of cozy English mysteries)

Me: "Romance!"

Customer: (backing away slowly) "Oh."

I'm so happy to come across this group, just in time. I'm finishing a complete downer story right now. Despite its being very well written, I have promised not to do that to myself again for AWHILE. I don't mind a little 'bittersweet,' but give me a HEA for sure!

I would love to take up more creative writing, and someday maybe even write a book. But alas, I'm more if a technical writer (I write grant proposals), and honestly am not a good story teller.

Hi! I'm Katheryn and I love HEA endings! I have written a few guest posts on authors' blogs about why I love them so much and my books always finish HEA. I mainly write sheikh romances so trying to get a HEA ending isn't easy as there are such huge cultural differences for the couple to overcomec, but they always manage it in end :)
