Merging characters

Hi:
Sorry if this has been asked before. I really cant figure out how to merge two characters:
On this page:

on the right column there are two Henry II which are the same but when I click on them I get different books. How can i merge those 2 characters?
The idea behind adding characters is being able to list many books writen about whoever, but if the system allows these double entries the lists are never complete. Help appreciated.

From the page you linked do the following...

1. Select one of the Henry II's from the right
2. Scroll down to 'books with Henry II of England'
3. Next to each book there should be 'edit characters'; click one of these.
4. You will be taken to a page that has a list of 'current characters'; Henry II will be listed there with a option to 'merge' in grey text; select this.
5. From there you will be given the option to search for other characters and Henry II will be filled in automatically. Click 'find characters', the rest sould be self-explanatory.

However, there's probably an easier way to do it...:S

Now that I'm more awake I see its impossible to merge 2 characters with exactly the same name cause the "find character" tab doesnt lock it and it goes all the time to try to merge it with itself.
So first I renamed one of them to something else and it worked.
Now if only I could do a search for characters...
