I have a few... Carla Neggers
Jude Deveraux
Julie Garwood
Debbie Macomber
Nancy Atherton
I only read new hardcovers from the library though as I can't afford $25+ for a single book. I will however, buy anything they've written in paperback and have a sizeable collection.
Oh. I have a lot of autobuys.
JR Ward
Jeaniene Frost
Larissa Ione
Kresley Cole
Lilith Saintcrow
Nalini Singh
Rachel Caine
Maggie Stiefvater
Richelle Mead
Colleen Gleason/Joss Ware
Kim Lenox
Melissa Marr
Keri Arthur
Gena Showalter
Lara Adrian
Suzanne Collins
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I know there are more.

See this is what I love about Goodreads, just when I think I am bad along comes someone else who is just as bad as me!!!!! Thanks Jan, I feel better about myself now since I know my author list is probably as long as yours!!!! Although I agree with Briansgirl, I usually borrow the hardcover from the library, but then buy the paperback.A sampling of those I *have* to buy:
JR Ward
Laurel K Hamilton
Anne Bishop
Keven J Anderson
RA Salvatore
LA Banks
When my book embargo is lifted it will also include:
David (& Leigh) Eddings
Jacqueline Carey
Juliet Marillier
Timothy Zahn
Kate Forsyth
Jennifer Roberson
Rosalind Miles
Kate Elliot
JK Rowling
Rosamunde Pilcher
I'm a big library girl so I don't necesarily buy books unless the wait is too long or the library doesn't carry their book.
Rachel Caine & Kim Harrison are top on my lists. I will also be heading to the bookstore when Patrick Rothfuss publishes the sequel to The Name of The Wind if my library isn't cooperating with me :).
Others include:
Devon Monk
Rhiannon Frater
Patricia Briggs
Jeaniene Frost
There would be a lot more if I had an abundance of money... but alas, I don't, so I have to watch my book money carefully.

Mine are Eileen Wilks, Patricia Briggs, Laurell Hamilton, Kim Harrison, Jeaniene Frost and Diana Gabaldon. (so far)
I LOVE to buy books - there's just something about adding another book (or 10) to my already crowded shelves! I don't go to the library hardly at all anymore...I'm a compulsive book buyer, so any author could make the list. Here are some of my favorites:
Patricia Briggs
Kim Harrison
Laurell K Hamilton
Vicki Pettersson
Caitlin Kittredge
Charlaine Harris
JR Ward
Rachel Vincent
Devon Monk
Jeaniene Frost
Jocelynn Drake
C.E. Murphy
Lilith Saintcrow
Carrie Vaughn
I keep discovering more authors, so my collection is never-ending!
