Fortunately, while Dave is eating a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, the humans manage to break the glass dome by singing a high "C" all together.

Unfortunately, the air (or, lack thereof) outside the dome is not enough to sustain them and they all perish into red dust.
Fortunately, Dave finished his sandwich, gulped down his sasparella then went about the task of reivnenting mankind. He found a piece of hair and with the improvemnt in DNA cloning, proceeded to clone a new race.
Fortunately, Dave was unconcerned with Scarlett's insomnia (although I'm sorry to hear of it), and he created a super human race. All were now equal and had none of that nasty greed inherent in mark 1. All were able to live in peace, meditating a great deal of the time.
Unfortunately, the prize became too tempting to an alien race who have been eagerly waiting for a harvest as ripe as Earth has become.
Fortunately, the aliens could not understand a word any human spoke and thought it would be better if they put us back on Earth with all memories of "the harvest" wiped from the humans minds. So life went back to normal, back to normal, back to norm......whirrrr...eeep...i seem to have a malfunction.
fortunately the aliens had pervious knowledge of sign language and were still able to communicate, although somewhat slower.
Unfortunately people stopped "listening" because the aliens sentences were really long...they had long fingers...
Fortunately the aliens could write and wore tablets hung from their spindly long necks with their thoughts written on them.
Fortunately, one among them had the good sense to install solar panels which fed into an emergency power center.
Unfortunately, it is very dark in space and to go with that, a strange dark cloud had hovered over the alien craft only 21 light years into their journey.
Unfortunately, only 19.5 light years from Earth they flew through a meteorite shower, shattering all solar panels and scratching the paintwork, resulting in them having to pull into flux capacitor chop shop to be repaired.
Fortunately, a quirky mechanic hustled from behind a dented gray hovercraft, mouth agape and shouted, "Great Scott!"
Unfortunately, the mechanic, though eager to help, was unable to repair the ship, due to the fact that the aliens who had fitted the solar panels had wrecked the inner workings of the ship. He offered the aliens a choice; either he could leave the ship in its broken state, or he could convert the ship into an experimental time machine.
Fortunately, a small group volunteered to go back in time to help their vessel avoid the treacherous meteors.
Unfortunately, they only went back in time 5 minutes and when they appeared in front of their own selves from 5 minutes in the future it created a terrifying conundrum that could not be controlled
Fortunately, the embarrassment was immediately forgotten when a rip in the space-time continuum split open the air between them.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, whichever way you think of it, the space/time continuum not only opened the / air between them but sucked them into a great void and they were never heard from again.
Unfortunately for the aliens, this thread went off on a new track and a new topic was discussed....books.
Fortunately, books provide a multiplicity of ways to inspire, to depress, to poison, to heal, to enrapture and to enrage.
Unfortunately, mundane things like sleeping and eating and life interfere with the reading of books.
Unfortunately, there are too many books out there to ever read in one's lifetime. The struggle is real!
Michael wrote: "Fortunately, we like a challenge."Unfortunately, a mutant version of pink eye with the capability of blinding readers after exposure is spreading, and our only hope is that a cure be found before the scientists themselves go blind.
Fortunately, as it was a deserted island, there were no cows on the island (hence it being deserted) and Kimberley saved her $100
Fortunately, scientists have discovered that one cup of coffee per day can cure viruses therefore Kimberley saved even more money as she did not have to call nerds'r'us to fix her computer.
Unfortunately she then remembered that the one cup of coffee a day only cures human viruses and NOT computer viruses so now her computer is dead and she has to use her $100 to fix it or buy a new one
Fortunately, down on her luck, Kimberley got a meal, then with her last $10 she bought a lotto ticket and won the entire jackpot of $250,000,000.00
Kimberly wrote: "Unfortunately, she was behind in taxes and the IRS took all her money she won from the lottery."Fortunately, she had chosen the cash option quite literally, and after they left, found she forgotten to hand over a stack of $100 bills which allowed her to buy a new computer and take a flight to Aruba, where she met a mysterious man...
Fortunately she was able to keep him busy long enough to hire a hit man to get the Agent off her back.

Looks like when I posted mine I missed Kimberly's. Must have been on the wrong page. So...
Fortunately, a hurricane was coming in, and the hit man was blown out to sea, still clinging to a palm tree, just as the monster storm stirred up something long dormant at the bottom of the ocean...
Unfortunately she did not have enough money to pay the hit man, so she was to be the next on his list.
Fortunately, when she unfolded the paper, she discovered that it was a bank note worth $500 Million.
fortunately, when she swam out to try and retrieve the note she bumped into a treasure chest when she dove under water.
Fortunately, now my server is back on speed and I can catch up with what I actually missed out on previously.
Fortunately I can not understand a word that is being said. Questions bring up another 100 questions from all kinds of different people all with different opinions. Thats what makes this thread so interesting. Has anyone written a book from the questions and answers in this thread?
