Well, so far, there are only eight Midnight Breed books. Hunter's will be nine and Chase Sterling will be ten. Believe me, you'll have no problem catching up. I read the first eight in a week because I couldn't put them down.
Oh good to know. I'm off to see if my library has them today haha!

There are so many wonderful ones, so many to admire for so many reasons...Here are some that I really loved (this is purely from the books):
1. Lestat, Gabrielle, Jessie, and Khayman - The Vampire Chronicles (Amazing characters, with incredible stories. Ah Lestat! The original Brat Prince!)
2. Edward and Alice - Twilight (I don't care what you say, Edward was a BADASS in the books, but no saint, and for the most part he always tried to struggle against his nature and do the right thing. That is just a great character, IMO, no matter how the movies ruined him.)
3. Damon Salvatore - The Vampire Diaries (Oh Damon! Always doing the wrong thing and making mistakes, I still love you, faults and all!)
4. Henry Sturgess - Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
5. Constantine - Sunshine
6. Zoey Redbird - House of Night (She makes me laugh and is a good strong female character.)
7. Bones - Night Huntress (He makes me laugh even MORE!)
There are many more, but those are the ones that stick out, at the moment!
wow, im kindof surprised at your list Pisces......i thought Lestat would be on the list but picks 2,3 and 6 shocked me a bit.....lol
What shocked you about them? Didn't think I liked teen fiction? I do, it's not my favorite, but I really like those characters. They are really well written and dynamic. The books are ok, but the characters are all excellent.

Thanks Tiffany! Yeah, the books were ok, but no matter how I felt about the books, I can't deny that Edward and Alice were really great vampire characters. But agreed, Bella was TOTALLY annoying (aka: a dumbass). She was the worst part of the books! :P Thanks for seconding that. I'll add your suggestion to my list. I'm still making my way slowly through your other recommendations, but for the most part they are good! Thanks, will let you know what I think once I am done!
I liked Alice! She was awesome! In the books and the movies. Only character I liked out of Twilight.And at the moment I like Merit from Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampire series! And Luc, and Malik. I still think Ethan's a bit arrogant but he's growing on me =D
Oh, and I know he's not a vampire, but I have to say I LOOOOVEEE Catcher! Haha, love him love him love him!

Ha! Oh, I am watching all the movies. The last two probably won't be that bad...I hope! New Moon was OK. Twilight was eh, but Eclipse was pretty much crap. Lee Pace is supposed to be in the last film though, so that should improve it quite a bit! :P

Ha! LOL! Well, you know, either way really. :P And Lee Pace is playing Garrett, who I didn't really remember because he was a small character in the book. Here is what IMDB says about the character:
"Garrett is an American Nomad. He was created during the American Revolution. He has no special abilities, but loves a challenge. He will always attempt anything once. He is normally a loner but by the time he meets Kate ( one of the Denali clan ) he has found his mate."

I hesitate to say that I did read all of the Twilight books. Alice was the only one I truly liked. But the whole sparkle thing got under my skin. Vampires don't @*#%ing sparkle. So now that that's out of my system...the story is okay for the fanbase it was written for, but Bella drove me absolutely insane with her stupidity. And really, with what happened to her during the attack and the explanation that was given to her parents...What parents are stupid enough to believe such a flimsy cover story?
You know, I was never really all that bothered by the sparkly thing. The way I see it, the mythology always changes one way or another, and authors always take license to create their characters in ways that are interesting or unique, if they didn't I doubt we would want to read about them. Stephanie Meyer had a dream of a girl and a beautiful vampire that sparkled in the sunlight and she woke up and wanted to keep the characters so she wrote Twilight. Not that crazy. Different. A bit gay. But not worth all the general outrage in my opinion. No, the real problem with the Twilight books is not that the characters sparkle, it is that the writing is only average at best and Bella is the most emo, self-deprecating character I've ever read, and just generally annoying with the decisions she makes....
But, yeah, getting a bit off topic! Oops!
