WhatShouldIRead I am currently almost done listening to Voyager and had a quick question. I've read this series, but years ago so don't recall, and was wondering if Geillis really died when Claire hit her with the axe. Or, Geillis being Geillis, does she re-appear in one of the following books? And, did anything happen to Brianna because of the picture she took?

That was Geillis. I don't think she will be making anymore appearances.

WhatShouldIRead Ok - I guess that is toward the end of the book and I haven't quite gotten that far yet.

Lori (lahood) | 217 comments The scene with Joe is actually closer to the beginning of the book(page 227) because it occurs right before Claire decides to go back and look for Jamie. It's the same scene in which Claire asks Joe to look out for Bree after she's gone.

WhatShouldIRead OK. There is just SO much info, events, people, etc, etc I sometimes can't keep things straight in the books.

Lori (lahood) | 217 comments I'm pretty sure she's gone for good.
We are already well past her birth and trip through the stones in the "present day" portions of the series.
I believe the fact that her 200 year old skeleton has already been found means that she can never reappear as a living character.
