so far it's been a lot about war. marjane learns a lot about her family adn their history. she has sort of a emotional ride through out her life. she learns more and more each day about what's going on.

Junior joined the basketball team. At tryouts Coach was impressed. He got on the team and lost his first game with his old school and old friend, Rowdy. Now, both teams are competing for #1. Junior's team won and Rowdy his best friend was pretty upset.
