I'm loving reading this heavy tome! The cover, not so much. But, altogether I'm very happy with this book and will likely read it again someday. I think it's only available from the publisher.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) This looked very interesting, until I saw the price. I just can't afford $225, unfortunately. I just blew my budget & thought I was crazy for buying $100 book. It looks like it would be worth every penny of it, though.

Some of their other books are very cool, too. They really have some fabulous cover art. I saw a couple of $10 paperbacks that are more in my price range.

Thanks for turning me on to them. I'm going to save the link to their site hoping I'll be able to afford some of their stuff one day.

John Karr (karr) | 62 comments Bet there's some cool reading in there, but $225 for a book is way beyond my means.

And yet ... heard tales of a first edition POE, and a slighted bookseller who plied a buyer with drink and lured him down a dark expansive basement by offering to sell it, then sealed him in with bricks and mortar.

(lifted from some other discussion, but thought it fit here)

Forrest | 4 comments Jerad at Centipede Press frequently discounts damaged books, so this title might become available at a lesser price. If you can put up with a bumped corner or two, that is. I recommend getting on his email list.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) Thanks, Forrest! That's good to know.

Mike (the Paladin) (thepaladin) Ya, too rich for the normal pocketbook. Too bad.
