Not a good book. Difficult language made it hard to get through.
Book #15 - The Host by Stephenie Meyer
LOVED this one!!! Even though it's been two months since I've read it I still sometimes catch myself thinking about this book. After having finished it I had a feeling of loss (still do) because I'll never have that first excitement again while reading it and thinking "what's going to happen now". It was a great book and I envy everyone who has still to read it!
Book #16 - The Body Artist by Don Delillo
Haven't got a clue of what this book was about. I didn't like it that's for sure.
Book #17 - Blue is for Nightmares by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Easy to read YA book. It was ok.
Book #18 - The Observations by Jane Harris
Really liked this book, had a lot of unexpected twists and turns in it and really took you to the place where it all happens.
Book #19 - Splendour by Anna Godbersen
I love The Luxe series. This one didn't dissapoint, but then again I didn't have any expectations while reading.
Book #20 - The New Uxbridge English dictionary
This book was a gift. It had some funny descriptions in it but a lot of the jokes I didn't really get :S
Book #21 - Anthropology by Dan Rhodes
About 100 stories of half a page long. Didn't really catch what this book was trying to convey.
Book #22 - Glass of Time by Michael Cox
Took me really long to finish this book. Mainly because the story didn't really grab me. When looking back at the story I can't really remember what it was about, so that's not very good is it :S
Book #23 - Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
A whole lot of stuff didn't make sense in this book, but what can you expect? It was a nice YA book.
Book #24 - Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia
Same as Hush Hush, lot of things that didn't make sense and annoyed me. Other than that an OK YA read.
Book #25 - Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Story was really nice, I enjoyed reading this one.
Book #26 - The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen
Totally did not get this book! Super weird! A ghost living in the closet of the main character for a couple of weeks without getting out and the main character not noticing it's a ghost or finding it weird?! Pfff this story went waaaay above my head!
Book #27 - Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson
Really good YA book about a girl who struggles with anorexia. Some stuff was quite shocking and gets you to really think about the subject...
Book #28 - Wildthorn by Jane Eagland
Nice YA read. Shocking revelations at the end. Good book!
Book #29 - A Mercy by Toni Morrison
Skipped whole parts of this tiny book. Even though it was tiny (167 pages) it was really hard for me to get through. Couldn't get into the story at all. The narrators kept changing without warning and I became very confused and distracted from the story because of that. After having read good reviews of this book I was quite dissapointed :(

I like this authors writing style, her books are easy to read & the story is always good. This one was too.
Book #31 - The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville
This book had potential but the author didn't make it work. Too bad...
Book #32 - Dark Visions (bind up) by L.J. Smith
3 in 1, but didn't leave a great impression on me.
Book #33 - Unwind by Neal Shusterman
I liked the whole story behind it all but didn't like the way the author conveyed the story in the book.
Book #34 - Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
This was my first Nicholas Sparks book. I liked it, but the ending was terrible! It won't be my last Sparks book though...
Book #35 - The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
Ok, where do I begin? Well, let me start of by saying that I LOVEDDD this book!!!! Haven't read a book this good in a looong time. I recommend it to everyone! The book is written superbly and the story is just wow.
I was very happy to find out this book had an open ending which left me with a lot of question marks but if that means it will get a sequel (which it will) I'm ok with it!
Book #36 - The Storyteller's Tale by Omair Ahmad
One word: boringgg
Book #37 - The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Beginning, middle and end --> wonderful. I loved this book and have already recommended and lent it out to two of my friends who also loved it.
Book #38 - Up in the Air by Walter Kirn
Thought I'd read the book before I'd watch the movie, and can you believe it? It made me not want to watch the movie anymore! It was that bad!
Book #39 - Blink, the power of thinking without thinking by Malcolm Gladwell
Took me forever to finish, mainly because I kept setting this book aside to read others instead. In the end I just grabbed it and skipped whole parts just to finally finish the thing! These self-help kind of books are just not my thing...
Book #40 - M is for Magic by Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman dissapointed me, big time. I picked this book up because it was by him and was ready to be impressed like I was with Coraline and The Graveyard Book, but it just wasn't meant to be...
Book #41 - The Virgin's Tale by Sherri Smith
A book that could have easily been great but was just written awfully bad.
Book #42 - The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
A detective through the eyes of an eleven year old. Sometimes I thought the girl was forty and sometimes I thought she was six. The big revelation in the end didn't surprise me, mainly because after 1/4 into the book I was already not interested in who the killer was but just interested in getting this book over with so I could start on a better one...
Book #43 - The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O'Farrel
Really good book. It is well written, has a good story and keeps you interested in the ending. You do have to use your imagination a bit though at the end but I didn't find that annoying.
Book #44 - Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay
This was like the book Night but through the eyes of a little girl instead of a boy. Horrible things happen in this book, war is incomprehensible to me if you read stuff like this.
Book #45 - The Red Pony by John Steinbeck
Four stories in this one little book about the same boy & different situations. I really liked two out of the four stories (the two with the very sad endings, you'll know when you read it) but then I really didn't like the other two stories...
Book #46 - The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
Reminded me a little of Life of Pi. Was a great book, sad ending.
Book #47 - The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner - by Stephenie Meyer
After the disaster that was called Breaking Dawn I think Stephenie delivered with this one! I liked Bree's point of view. She gave me a whole other insight in the life of a newborn. I was pleasantly surprised!

Book #50 - The Chosen by Chaim Potok
Book #51 - City of Thieves by David Benioff

Book #72 - One Night Stand by Julie Cohen
Book #73 - Brand New Friend by Mike Gayle
Book #74 - Between, Georgia by Joshilyn Jackson
Book #75 - There's no place like here by Cecilia Ahern
Book #76 - The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Book #77 - Grave Sight by Charlaine Harris
Book #78 - Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin
These are the books I read starting from 01-01-2010:
Book #1 - The South Beach Diet by Arthur Agatston
Thought this book would get me on the right track with my New Years resolution and all; it failed to do it's job.
Book #2 - Think Thin, Be Thin by Doris Wild Helmering
One of the best books about losing weight I've ever read. Had lots of useful tips for me to accomplish my New Years resolution!
Book #3 - Taal is zeg maar echt mijn ding by Paulien Cornelisse
Dutch book by a comedian who tries to show you the funny side of every day Dutch (language). I think she put too much of her own opinion in this book.
Book #4 - Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Nice YA book about a girl slowly losing the will to talk.
Book #5 - Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson
Another nice YA book that shows a terrible disease from a young girls point of view in a whole other time setting (1793). It was an interesting read.
Book #6 - The Book of Tomorrow by Cecilia Ahern
I expected a chicklit and was pleasantly surprised that it held much more potential! I really enjoyed this one. And the cover of this book is beatiful!
Book #7 - The Case of the Missing Books by Ian Sansom
This book was awful! I could not relate to the characters, the dialogues were moronic and the story wasn't all that either. I'm very sad :( I expected more from this book!
Book #8 - The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold
I gave this author another chance to make it up to me. After having read The Lovely Bones and being dissapointed, I hoped this book would be better. It was not. It was worse. I skipped words and sentences just so this book would be over that much sooner!
Book #9 - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
I had the urge to re-read this one, so I did. I loved it even more than the first time I read it! J.K. Rowling = genius.
Book #10 - The Vampire Diaries 1 (The Awakening & The Struggle) by L.J. Smith
Seeing as the series would start today on TV (in Holland) I had to read the books first. I wish I hadn't. They were so similar to the Twilight books, but waaay worse! If Stephenie Meyer "took inspiration from" these books she is good. She turned something awful into something great!
Book #11 - The Vampire Diaries 2 (The Fury & The Reunion) by L.J. Smith
Bad, bad, bad.
Book #12 - Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
After having read The Vampire Diaries I had to re-read this one. I love this book! The same jokes still make me laugh, the romantic scenes still make me giggly and the action moments still make me nervous!
Book #13 - Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Seeing as I've just re-read Eclipse I thought I'd might as well re-read Breaking Dawn as well.
