Sara (saralou) | 174 comments 47. The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster The Phantom Tollbooth By Norton Juster This is a classic children's book that in my opinion, should be read at least once a year. Juster's writing style is a combination of Lewis Carroll, and Dr. Seuss; whimsical and full of sage advice.
Jules Feiffer illustrations are wonderful as well, and add depth and humor to Milo's personal journey.

Sara (saralou) | 174 comments I started this challenge at the end of January, so I still have plenty of time to get to 50. I hope to be done by this time next week so that I can start the challenge for this year.
48. Taft A Novel by Ann Patchett Taft: A Novel by Ann Patchett.
I love Patchett's writing style, but now that I have read all of her books, I can agree with the rest of the critics that Taft just isn't at the same level as the rest of her writing.

Sara (saralou) | 174 comments 50! From The Outside Looking In Edited by Chris Crowe This book is a collection of short stories for young adults. I enjoyed the range of subjects, but most of the writing fell short for me.
I finished with about two weeks to spare, and now on to this year's challenge...
