Any one who is parenting a child should put this on their must-read list. Judith is essentially a Jungian who incorporates Jungian theory into existing research in the fields of human growth and development and personality. There is so much at stake for the psyche of your child; having a key that unlocks this deeper psycho-social spiritual component to personhood should be on every parent's must-learn list.

Don't let fear of the chakras and a lot of new age mumbo-jumbo turn you off. I hate new age mumbo-jumbo. This is not a new-age book. It may be a book for a new age, but that's different.

This book made me want to ask a lot of questions of my parents about my own childhood, but I personally would be better off consulting the European psychic down the street who's running a special.
