Is that better?

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) LOL I think that about sums it all up, I*rule! Doubt anyone could make it any more succinct! :)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) *Golf Clap* <--- Reference to the movie Men at Work with Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez for those who may not know the infamous 'Golf Clap,' lol.

But in all seriousness, I love it. Mainly because we Twilight Haters spend an enormous amount of time intellectually debating and logically arguing with people who are obsessed with this series. And, truly, I know we all get to the point where we want to just scream "IT FREAKING SUCKS- GET OVER IT" at 'em.

Or, something much more eloquent, of course. *Points up*

Well I was going to post it, only...Well it'd take like four posts. O.O It's like 7 computer pages, I found it on the Max-Dan-Wiz site, for Maximum Ride fans...Lol yeah. I'll post it on my website, or e-mail you it.

Haha, your poor brain. I'm so sorry. :P Actually, my friend is considering reading it just to make a parady. I feel so sorry for her. ):

Really? The CHILDREN'S librarians? Oh, wow. :S I love the library, but Tw*light is a young adult book, and now like 11 year olds are reading it because of the movie. -.-

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments Wow, it seems like we're getting more off topic as the days go by....

I shall start:

EDWARD SPARKLES!! WHAT'S NOT WRONG WITH THAT???

message 58: by Laura (new)

Laura (xmagical) VAmpires. Don't. Fricking. SPARKLE!!!!

Next she'll say they're immune to garlic or something. -.-

Seriously, they give Dracula a bad name. o.o

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments Struck through the heart! 'Cause you're too late! You give Dracula a bad name!

Eek! That IS long indeed! Oh well, at least it's legitmate entertainment, rather than that funky-skunky-funk Meyer wants to claim is entertainment!

I know! My brain still reels from the thought that I suffered 60 pages! *Shivers* Never, ever doing that stupidity again!

Oh, GOD! You're friend will surely miss her thinking abilities after she completes just one of the books, let alone the whole series, if that's her plan at least.

Mmm-hmm! The sad part is that the books are YA, and I don't have a problem with adults reading YA. I plan do read Sherrilyn Kenyon's new Young Adult series the Chronicles of Nick, so again, no problems there. But when a person of intellectual abilities to the degree the head children's librarian has blatantly insists on this book being so good. Well. There are no words :|.

LOL I love it. And indeed- I think the fact that the idgit sparkles should be a big red flag to those who claim to love this series. IT SUCKS AND IS STUPID! HOW ON EARTH COULD YOU LIKE THIS TRIPE?!...Sadly, they just swoon even more at the thought of a sparkly-fartly vampire. Can anyone say, P-A-T-H-E-T-I-C?

--Also, it's just my opinion, Rose (not trying to start a fight or anything), but as I've said before, I don't think there's anything wrong with getting off topic now and then :). When we try to force conversations surrounding the same topic over and over again, eventually we just restate the same things we've said before. Can make for a very dull thread indeed :).

Are you referring to Bon Jovi's "You Give Love a Bad Name?" Awww, I love that song :(! Hehe, but to each their own, I always say! :D

Seriously, they give Dracula a bad name. o.o"

*Nods excitedly in agreement!*

Precisely! My thoughts exactly! Dracula is surely turning round and round in his literary coffin as we speak!

(Course, what a fool indeed I have made of myself if my assumption is wrong. Yet, *shrugs*, oh well! I still love that song! *Does happy Snoopy dance around room to song in head* :) )

Erg, I know right? I feel soooo sorry for her poor brain. Just the first book, thankfully. I had a best friend of mine read them (She actually liked them!) and she gave me a detailed description of books one, two and four. -.- Which is why I conclude that I shall never, ever read those books..

Mehh. *shudder* That's awful. xP Most people read it because of Robert Pattenson and Taylor Laatner, or they saw the movie...Bleh.

Dang, hon, I feel for you! Thankfully I was graduating about the time Twilight was starting to skyrocket in its ignorant popularity- so I escaped that hell.

But got to jump right back into another one when I started working at my local library and had to check this book out to unsuspecting innocents going to read the books, AND fans alike. Keeping my mouth shut? Yeah. Harder than trying to send a man to Mars! :|

*Dies laughing* Awesome! I love that visual! LOL

Ah! Well, okay, at least you're friend isn't trying to make a sequel of The Spanish Inquisition, which is exactly what reading these books equate to!

:|

Wow, hon! *Shivers in fear* Now THAT is hell on earth. The only person in my sphere of acquaintances that likes these books is my cousins wife- and it's bad enough hearing her idiotic fandomania whenever I'm around my family. But to have a best friend that likes 'em...ooooo. Detailed. Description?! Oh your poor mind! *Hands you literary band-aid for said brain to heal* Stephen King couldn't write a better horror story than that!

Yep. Yep. The movie has injected more stupidity surrounding these books. Which is as disgusting as it is pathetic :|.

Hehe. Or better yet- let's make it Ultimate Slapdown- put Dracula and Edward in a ring together and see Eddi-kins get his @$$ beat!

*Evil laugh* Or even BETTER! Bella falls in love with Dracula and makes Edward suffer the oblivion of hell, kills himself and THEN Bella gets her throat ripped out by Dracula :). See! Happily Ever After IS possible!

Yeah, it was awful. That was like a year ago though, and we don't really see each other much now, which sucks. But I made her read actual literature, and she doesn't like Tw*light now. :D

Ahh, thank you for the Band-Aid. :P Your poor, poor cousin!!!

Erg, poor Dracula. Having to put up with Bella.

I*rule*all (iruleall) | 776 comments *cracks up* The other day my friend came in with New Moon, and it had Bella and Jacob on it(special release, I guess). Here's what happened:

Me: *nomnomnoming on Cinnabon Bars*
Jessica: *comes in* LOOK, LOOK, I GOT THE NEW NEW MOON BOOK!!
Me: Isn't it already new moon?
Celeste: The one with Jacob and Bella?!
Me: Why the fuck would you add another new to it?
J: Because it's NEW!!
C: Whatever, Jessie.
Nikki: *comes up, screams, picks up book, makes hand into gun and pretends to fire*
Me: Is it really that bad? *comes up, picks up book, sees the disgustingness* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! *sets down, pretends to use my bass recorder for a rifle, pretends to fire*
Nikki: *cracks up*
J: Don't hurt it!!!!
Me: *looks up* Are you shitting me? This is a god damn BASS. There is no way in hell that it can harm pedo wolf and dumass swan.
C: Jessie, let's not get into that again.
Me: What!? He freaking IMPRINTS ON A 50-MINUTE-OLD BABY.
J: She'll grow up! When she's 7, she can-
Me: When she's SEVEN?! Are you SERIOUS!? *yells* RAPIST BASTARD!!!
C: Oh, God.
Me: You are not grossed out?
C: Well, no.
Me: *grabs C, shakes* COME BACK TO YOUR SENSES, WOMAN!!! COME BACK!!!
Me + N: *singing* Baby come back!!! You can blame it all on that!! *both point at New Moon, then high five*
C: *sighs, walks out*
J: *walks out with the book*
Me: *sighs* I love doing that.

message 81: by Fangirl Musings (new)

Fangirl Musings (fangirlmusings) LOL Indeed! Thanks!

*Laughs* Somehow people always end up shortening my name, it never fails, LOL. Although, what's even more comical is the fact that I actually not only have a long first name, but 4 names within my name; Jacqueline Marie Josleyn Watts. Yeah. That's SO fun to learn to spell and write when you're learning to read/write :|.

Not!

But no worries, J works fine :). Or Jacquie, which is technically my nick name anyways.

:-)

Nightshade | 1257 comments Okayz! :D Usually, I threaten to kill people if they call me anything other than Nightshade (bad experiences with someone using an obnoxious nickname... *shudder*), but I think someone just called me Night in another topic, which is fine. :) It'll take some getting used to, though... like "Night? Oh, wait, that's ME!" ;)

LOL It's not so bad in the cyber world when people nick-name you. It IS bad when people try to do that in the real world and you're sitting in the same room with them, and they keep hollering it over and over- and since in your mind that's not your name, and it just leaves for tons of awkwardness once you figure it out! :)

*Chuckles* God that was great! =)) "Night? Oh, wait, that's ME" LMAO I love it!

message 86: by Rose (new)

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments I always nickname people, but not anything stupid. Just sometimes I'm really lazy and don't feel like writing the whole thing out, or I can't spell it. In your case, J. I hate the nicknames other people give me, like Nosey Tosey, Rosie, Rosey Posey.....

message 87: by Nightshade (new)

I do that! My username on all sites used to be Calandra Ice, and people called me Cal, but it got censored and showed up as Caky. :| But then they discovered stuff like super cal-afragalistic, and cal-culator, so now I have like a gazillion nicknames. ^_^

message 92: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments Lol, nice. :)

Apparently, my real name (NOT Nightshade) sounds like a popular-preppy-cheerleader-girl name, which is NOT me at all. I mean, my friends say I fit my name, but they said if they didn't know me and it was like "What's the first thing you think of when I say the name ______?", then they'd think of the popular-preppy-girl thing. I was like "Wow, guys. Thanks. So much. Seriously?!" :P

message 93: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments I have stalkerphobia issues, so I'd prefer to not say my real name. Even though there's, like, thousands of people with the same first name as me. Lol ;)

message 94: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments K, thanks. :) I reeeaaallly don't like it when people online are like "How old are you?" and I just don't respond or say "Uh, I'd rather not say" and then it gets to the point where they keep screaming "HOW OLD ARE YOU?!?!?!" and I scream back "I ALREADY SAID I DON'T WANT TO SAY!!!" and they just go "Oh. Okay." :P

message 95: by I*rule*all (new)

I*rule*all (iruleall) | 776 comments I've had that happen. I just answer, "I'M 53, OK!! OK!!!"

message 96: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments I like having religious debates, too. They're really interesting, plus it makes you think about religion in different ways and you go "Oh! Huh, never thought about it like that. Huh. That's cool." :)

And whoa. That's freaky. O_O

message 97: by Rose (new)

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments This is probably the only website I say my real name on. And I think I have my age on here too... I'm talking with this guy on FanFiction.net, and he sends me a message called guessing game and he guessed alot of things about me.

He was right on all of them except one, my age.

message 98: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments That's... kind of creepy. o_O

On here... I don't have my real name, age, whatever. Although some of the people on here, I know in real life, so duh- of course they're going to know stuff about me. Oh, and I think maybe one or two people know my real name, but I've known them for like... two years now? As long as I've been on GRs, anyway.

message 99: by Rose (new)

Rose (iceclaw) | 2069 comments Well, he's pretty cool. I didn't take it as creepy just "Wow,".

message 100: by Nightshade (new)

Nightshade | 1257 comments Yeah... it's weird when people do that. It's like "Hey, is your name ______?" and I'm like "Psh, no." *anime sweatdrop*

Someone on here guessed my name once. It was really random. o.O
