No, he choked her. pretifully. Like, the Ilusi left him for a momento and he apologized. they had a minute for themselves, crying and hugging, then the Elusi left her (the chicken) and the Ilusi came back. It choked her with air, and she dies without any marks of a struggle. He just walks off.
