Julie, you are correct. Pleasure was the book I was thinking about. I remember that as being really hot. I went to Half Price today and picked up another one of his books.
Photojim wrote: "I am looking for a good black romance author or contemporary that has a black hero/heroine. Any suggestions?"Sorry just saw this question now or I'd have answered sooner.
Anything from any of the Harlequin Kimani lines would have H/h's that qualify. These lines are exclusively African-American/Multicultural lines.
Also, Brenda Jackson writes for Silhouette Desire as well as some of the Kimani lines. She is one of the most popular, if not THE most popular African-American romance writer out there right now. All of her books feature at least one, if not both, of the lead couple as African American.
Also, Beverly Jenkins is a popular African-American author who writes single title romance. Also JM Jeffries (who I've read quite a few of their books). And Rochelle Alers, Michele Monkou, Wayne Jordan, and there are tons more, some of which I've read before, but these are the only ones popping up in my memory just now.
