Julianna (authorjuliannad) | 1890 comments I haven't read any of these romance authors yet, so I can't vouch for how good their books might be, but they are all AA:
Denise Jeffries/Alexis Ke
Beverly Jenkins
Brenda Jackson

I believe the author you were trying to think of Photojim, is Eric Jerome Dickey.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Julie, you are correct. Pleasure was the book I was thinking about. I remember that as being really hot. I went to Half Price today and picked up another one of his books.

Sorry just saw this question now or I'd have answered sooner.

Anything from any of the Harlequin Kimani lines would have H/h's that qualify. These lines are exclusively African-American/Multicultural lines.

Also, Brenda Jackson writes for Silhouette Desire as well as some of the Kimani lines. She is one of the most popular, if not THE most popular African-American romance writer out there right now. All of her books feature at least one, if not both, of the lead couple as African American.

Also, Beverly Jenkins is a popular African-American author who writes single title romance. Also JM Jeffries (who I've read quite a few of their books). And Rochelle Alers, Michele Monkou, Wayne Jordan, and there are tons more, some of which I've read before, but these are the only ones popping up in my memory just now.

eric jerome dickey? he's an AA author. I've never read him so the plot you mentioned rings no bells for me. But I do know his name as he is quite popular.

Another one is Zane. Just that, no last name. I think he writes erotica though.
