I just randomly found this at the library and it's a great read- a sprawling epic with Mormons, Indian reservations and tremendous weirdness.

As soon as I read the first two sentences of this book I knew I'd love it, "If I could tell you only one thing about my life it would be this: when I was seven years old the mailman ran over my head. As formative events go, nothing else comes close..." Wonderful book.

Wonderful and unique story. Compellingly different, if that makes sense.
