You met an alien possessing a dog having a cup of Mountain Dew at the Starbucks on the other side of the county line?Seems a good a guess as any.
It was a Lhasa Apso, and the alien was on the run for having violated one of the Alien and Sedition Acts.
That wasn't no Lhasa Apso, that was my mother-in-law! And yes, she was on the run for having been mistaken for an alien spreading acts of sedation at long-haired sit-ins.
Well acquainted withsedation, the thing he could
not possibly know
was the alien’s
relation to a hairy
mom Lhasa Apso.
Hey everyone! I just wanted to announce it is (almost) officially my birthday! I am gonna celebrate it in a simple way.Just felt like tellin' everyone on here.
Congratulations, CJ, on making it this far! Simple is good. I've had enough that all mine are simple — I forget about them.
Happy Birthday, CJ! Rejoice that you’re young enough somebody doesn’t call the fire department when you light the candles on your cake.
Thank you Guy and M! I am only celebrating simply since we celebrated it a few days back already so I am just gonna head down to a shop and buy some comic books. And I don't know if I am "young" enough but let's just say I tell people the truth that I am a "quarter of a century!"
One of my poems called To Us- Synesthesia. On the first of September. In an online literature magazine called Alliterati. I'll post the link to the page once it gets published.

Hey, here's the link to the magazine. I'm on page 42 http://issuu.com/alliteratimagazine/d... They did spell Synesthesia wrong, but it's understandable, because of all the work they do.
Hey guys. I am wondering. What happened to the "Humor" thread? Did it get erased? I was about to put a sentence from a writing on there but could not find it . . .
The president is going to be downtown on Tuesday, I have a 9am class that day and have to take the train which has a station right at the location he will be at and it looks like I'm going to close the dining room tomorrow. This week already looks difficult for me. XP
Hi! I just wanted to let everyone know that I won't be competing for a while. I'm leaving for the Navy tomorrow!!! I'm really excited!! I'll miss you all and writing stories, but I'll be back in a couple months. Have a great fall!!!
Good luck! See you when you get back. From friends who've been to boot camp, you will be getting lots of experiences from which to get story ideas. And, remember to think outside the box!
Thank you very much Guy! And I will.
BYE, NICOLA!!!!!!! We'll miss you sooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck in the Navy... though I'm sure you won't need it. XD
My story-blog hasn't enjoyed a very regular viewship - except, apparantly from one or two people in Russia. I've had two postviews from Russia every day for the past week.My guess is that they're learning English by reading blogs, and happen to find humorous fiction a more comfortable learning experience.
That’s interesting! I wonder how they find them? It just now occurred to me to wonder if Goodreads is available in all sorts of languages, for people who don’t read English.
(laughs) Oh, Goodreads DEFINITELY comes in other languages. Once I logged into my account, and everything was in Italian. I had to use a translator app for two weeks before finally figuring out how to change the setting to English again.
You’re right! I went to my profile, and under “Settings” there are several languages you can set it to. I reset mine to French, but when I did a trial run, all the threads were still in English.
Cool, huh! I never would've discovered it if my little sister hadn't been toying around with my account. Then again, perhaps I wouldn't have minded if the Italian incident had been avoided... but, what's done is done. XD
