Violet Sakura (violetsakura) | 3 comments Hi guys, I am relatively new at librarian "job", but I'm trying my best. I'm trying to improve the mess in the manga books :) So here's the question. When I search a manga in english and I can't find ii I have to search it on Japanese (not that I know more Japanese than the alphabet), or even when I find one in English, there is another edition of the same manga on Japanese and of course the whole another language author page (on Japanese, and nooo information about the author). So, what should I do? Am I doing right? I'm creating the author's page in English and in the brackets I write their names in Japanese, I edit the Japanese page of the author into the same name and then combine them. This way it's easier to find the same books, thich are under different names (in different languages).

Nousha (noushawitch) | 19 comments Hi, I can't answer your question but instead I'll add some more to it :)

There are two cases I don't know what to do with:

- a Serbian author. You know that in Serbia both Latin and Cyrillic alphabets are used. So the author Vladislav Bajac is also found as Владислав Баjац. Same author, two entries. What should I do - which alphabet to use (I THINK, but not sure, that Cyrillic is considered official, still everybody uses both(.

- some Bulgarian authors are entered with their names in Latin. I think they should be in Cyrillic, am I right?

Thanks! :)
