@Denise: I love the Wraith Kings series. Book 1 was the most romantic but they are all great.

Just finished The Awakening by Nora Roberts. Enjoyable as always, but it lacked something. I can’t put my finger on it but it’s like I finished a great meal and I’m still hungry.
Started the Blackstone Affair series. I'm so not into it, but the first book ended on the biggest cliffhanger and I'm curious. So, reading All In.
Well I can't quite believe it, as I dislike YA, struggle to like RH, but I just finished 2 books in a series, and couldn't put them down. The heroines are young, guys are older, book 1 is menage, book 2 is a hot mess, too long and complicated but I finished them both. Teague's Breeder: A MMF Threesome Wolf Shifter Romance book 2 Leona Page Unforgivable.

It was okay... it was better than the last few. Like you, I was wanting Ilium's book instead!!
Trying to read Emerald Blaze by Ilona Andrews. I keep trying, and i lose interest right away. I really liked Sapphire Flame, the previous book of this same series, same characters, and this one is nothing like it. Ive no idea why it has equally good reviews. Rescuing monkeys and being chased by proto-crocodiles is boring AF. I cant get past it, i tried flipping to a random page in the middle of the book, and it doesnt seem any better. It's almost like it's trying to be a murder mystery or something. Like, what? who cares. Where's the romance.
So, I managed to fit in a few shorties before The Lazy Girl's trilogy (which I enjoyed immensely as a bit of fluff)
not my cuppa coffee. If I want to read about teenage behaviour I'll pick up a much more interesting YA book. It's well written though, so there is that...
and
two ultra-short Xmas shorties that were fun and cute.Am now in the middle of two buddy reads
and
neither of which I'm loving yet...
Just finished binge-reading Kris Michaels' Guardians, Guardian Defenders, Shadow Guardians, and Hope City series (whew!)- military-type, romantic suspense with some of the best characters I've found lately - Great for Susan Stoker fans!
finished and enjoyed all of these
really interesting PNR introduction
a super angsty love triangle. Loved it.
cute xmas CR
superb CR duet, now moving on to the rest of the series.I don't think I'll be getting to any more UF/PNR before the end of the month/year now, just CR and HR.
Oh and, 12 chapters in and am quite enjoying this now.

hoping this series is really gonna sink it's teeth into me!"This was not my favorite of them all, but obviously, I liked the series because I am reading #18.5 right now.
Sarah wrote: "Just started
hoping this series is really gonna sink it's teeth into me!"Book 1 was not very good compared to Mary's book or Zhadist's book. So if you are not "wowed" keep reading.

"@Crazy4More: I love the Torpedo Ink series too. I think book 5 comes out in January 2021 so right around the corner.
Finished / loved obsidian series by Jennifer Armentrout. Currently reading 3 deadly trial series by VS Winters.
I finished Annette Maries Red Winter Trilogy. It is so good, the main guy is very charmind and flirty and just so worth the read. It is YA.
I finished Blood Heir by Ilona Andrews. I got my paperback copy a day early as the ebook releases tomorrow.I love the Kate Daniels series. But Julie (the whiny teenage character from Kate Daniels, has now grown up into an adult and gets her own book) Julie is much better as a character in this book if you didn't like her in the original Kate Daniels series.
There is lots of humor and action scenes. I'ts a slow burn romance.
I'm currently reading Forbidden Highlander by Donna Grant. the first one was such a slow burn and the story has such a slow pace, that I had to force myself to begin this one. So glad I did. This one started so much better already.
I am a sucker for Highlander romances.Jamie and the uncle from the Outlander tv show are doing a show on Starz called "Men in Kilts" where they travel Scotland in a road trip.
Reading Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey. It turns out "The Tradition" is all of the standard fairy tales floating around in the world and this magic tries to make people fit the molds of fairy tales. But if you are Cinderella and the prince is only 2 years old, it doesn't work. That is when the fairy godmothers step in.
Great story, hot romance, and some humor. This is a re-read for me. I like this entire series. The Sleeping Beauty book is laugh out loud funny.
@Crazy4more: I tried reading Legally Yours and book 2 in the Spitfire trilogy but I didn't like decisions that the hero and the heroine made. It wasn't for me. I liked the author's writing though, just not what the characters did. Have you liked other books by author Nicole French?
Started reading Blood Heir. I stopped reading the blog posts around the chapter I'm at at this moment. I can't wait to finish it and at the same time I don't want it to end!!!! Anyway, love it!
Blood Heir is turning out so good! I’m not a fan of spin offs, but it’s Ilona Andrews, and of course it’s amazing. Aurelia is standing great on her own!
BarbaraAnn wrote: "I just finished Strange Love. This was sci fi rather than paranormal, but great story"Author Ann Aguire has some great series.
