I really hope you like Death's Dancer, I LOVED the whole trilogy when I read it a month or so back.

Like always with this author, great set ups/premises but something (multiple things) goes wrong in the execution.

Fantastic futuristic post-apocalypse romantic suspense. New author for me, will be reading more from her very soon.

I read a romance involving "the Purge" you know like in the movies where 1 day a year you can commit any crime and no punishment?

So the heroine has been pursued by the hero. She keeps saying no. Then the Purge happens and some bad stuff happens. (Hero did not do anything bad to her)

I'm on a contemporary romance roll lately. Just finished an awesome and incredibly funny and well written series by Max Monroe called Bad Boys Billionaires. And then I read a homonym series by Jessica Lemmon, which wasn't as good, but light and fast read all the same.

Finished Morrigan's Bidding - I enjoyed the story, the MC has some similarities to MC in another of the author's series

Also read King Of Flames - The story was interesting but I just couldn't connect with the characters

So, I read two highly emotional CR's back to back (the first was a relatability issue, the second was angst-filled and a love letter to the bond of twin siblings)... Oct and Nov have had me making up for a distinct lack of emotional reads for the majority of the year which is quite unusual for me.

Think I'll move in totally the opposite direction to this series next... I mean, I added these to my KU TBR as soon as I saw the series title!
