Finished The Trinity - I gave it 3 stars due to numerous editing issues, the story was interesting and the growth of the characters over the series has been enjoyable. I would have given this 4 stars, but the editing caused breaks in the flow of the story line.

It's a young adult science fiction novel with spaceships and pilots but I liked it. Skyward by Brandon Sanderson

I liked all of the characters in this book. The worldbuilding was interesting. There were definitely nuggets of humor throughout the book.

There were also a lot of character deaths, which were sad. Book 1 ended in a good place, lots of plot threads were tied up, and you are eager for the next installment. Not a cliffhanger.

Also the main character "grew up" a lot. She started off very immature and really learned a lot about herself and her behavior.

The best character was the artificial intelligence in the abandoned spaceship. He made me laugh out loud.

I'll definitely read the next book in the series.

I really liked as well! Laura Thalassa has a gift for making me like the bad guys! I've liked multiple series by her!
