If you liked the Mageri series by Dannika Dark you definitely need to read
Keystone. That's the 1st book in her Crossbreed series. It's Christians series.

I read Shadow Keeper by Christine Feehan. I liked how protective the hero was and how he wanted to buy her things and spoil her.

Yet another series (along with Cassie Palmer- same world) that I refuse to get into until I know for sure that it's complete. Reason?... six years since the last one? Ridiculous! Shame, as I'm sure I'll like it.

I started the new Naomi Novik (she wrote Uprooted) it's a different world in this book and it's so good, I can't put it down.

There are 3 main points of view, the duke's plain daughter, the moneylender's poor daughter, and an alcoholic abusive farmer's daughter. There is magic and people trying to better their family's lives and political plots.

I'd call it fantasy.

Have now done which didn't get me quite as much as but was still a very solid 5 star read. I love this author so much, can't wait for book 3... see, this is why I prefer to wait for the whole series, or at least a large chunk of it to be released and then binge read it!

Also read my very first "graphic novel" which had a shocking ending!

Not sure how I feel about this medium after just one try, you have to turn the pages far too often for the amount of information on them (I know that probably sounds REALLY lazy lol!) and it was over so quick for the actual size of the book... it was a library book and was an accidental pick - didn't realise that it was a GN until I checked it out because I just saw the cover and the novel was on my TBR. Still want to read the series as my interest in the story has been piqued...

Just finished the 5 books of "The Others" series by Anne Bishop. Great series, interesting and consistent world, characters that I cared about who grew and changed throughout the series. I rated all the books as 5-star. Even when you could anticipate what was going to happen next, I was kept entranced. I haven't read a complete series through like this in a long time.

Finished Alice. It was short and interesting. Then read Magic Lost, Trouble Found which I enjoyed, there were a lot of characters introduced and at times I had problems keeping names straight, but a good story and main character.

Ok so I love this thread. I have spent hours combing through all these books. I recently read after seeing so many of you had read and loved it and it did not disappoint, though the cover reminded me a little of an 80's bodice ripper, the romance was spot on! I would have ran right through the series however my husband keeps a tight hold on my amazon account after multiple book binges made us eat Ramen for a week or 2. ;) That means imma have to pace myself /sigh.

A couple other series that I've read recently that I really enjoyed were:

which is really good but not complete yet so if you are like me and dont want to wait for the ending I would shelve this for now. Slow burn RHN. This author has a remarkable ability to have a ton of characters and yet able to round them out really well, and the story itself is really unique.

This book is part of a trilogy which is followed by another trilogy and more to come, however each trilogy has its own unique ending with the story line and all the fav characters continuing through. If you like the most badass of heroines you need to meet my girl Reagan!

These have been my favorite series of the last month and would recommend them to any friends and PNR addicts!
