Have you tried ? I loved it! Very fast paced and lots of action. Super strong heroine, cool magic, and lots of mystery. It's a spin on Beauty and the Beast, but the world is very unique. I really enjoyed it.

The romance and erotica books I've been reading have been awesome. I was looking for some good PNR or Fantasy so thank you so much for the recommendations. Saw the reviews and really wanted to read but it's out of my book budget :(

Amiya...do you have a good library where you're located? I was able to borrow the e-book and the audio version of Uprooted from mine through the Overdrive app. Of course, it's available in print copy, too.

Not everyone has access to an up to date library system, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I don't know what I'd do without mine.

LOL! Yay! I love having access to their online library. Can't sleep? Download a book on your Kindle, iPad, iPhone, Android, whatever you have at 3:00AM. Same with the audiobooks. I still love a trip to the library now and then, but I don't have to go nearly as often. It's fantastic!

Regarding the ending for Uprooted...

I won't spoil it, but I'm putting a spoiler tag on it anyway. LOL!

(view spoiler)[A lot of readers complained that the ending left them unfulfilled or wanting more. The HEA is there, but it's left to our imagination. Perhaps the author left it open just in case she wanted to come back and create a series. I'd pick up the next book in a heartbeat! A girl can hope, right?

Anyway, I can understand your apprehension. I hate endings that just "stop" and leave so many questions hanging. The isn't "that" bad, but still... I can relate. (hide spoiler)]

I found the audio and the ebook on Overdrive through my local library. It's a good option if you're unsure about making the purchase, Good luck and happy reading!
